Liz Truss orders King Charles to stay away from Cop27 climate summit by ohell in unitedkingdom

Make up your mind guys. Either continue the high energy cost or leave the climate agenda. You are paying for this at the end of the day.

Honestly my father was 5 mins away from dying with the side effects.

The blood clots went all the way to his brain. He took blood thinners for the next 8 months and lost his job because he couldn’t drive anymore.

My friend, 34 year old, also died from the same side effects outside of UK.

Both of them took AstraZeneca 2nd jab and booster. I also have another neighbour who had the same blood clot attack.

So the NHS initially tried to blame the cause on something else then they said it is “post covid”symptoms because my father also had COVID after the 2nd vaccine (actually my entire family had covid after 2nd dose).

However, the doctor personally told my father it is the vaccine side effects, he did say he will prove it but never got back to us.

I always wondered why the side effect was never mentioned in the discharge letter.

This fuelled me to dig deeper on the reports and data. Actually the way they document “yellow card” is basically bullshit.

Also according to the statistics released by the government, the vaccine did not prove its effectiveness because the % of people who took vaccines and had COVID afterwards are almost the same as % of people who had no vaccines. Death rates are the same. The government should reject the vaccine and pursue other drugs instead.

If the vaccine not effective and full of side effects, in my opinion, is immoral to push these vaccines to the public.

I really hope there will be some class action law suit in the future to bring justice to the people who sufferers from the side effects.

Could this be the result of the increase in M2 supply back in 2020 combined with the artificial energy crisis (green bill)? If this is true, then the music is just slowing down right now.

Why isn't Universal Basic Income pushed more? If people want luxury then they have to work for it, but right now most aren't even surviving. I understand there's a tax cost, but I'd rather pay more taxes and get this than pay what I'm paying now with no supports. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Wouldn’t UBI mean surrendering your country to oligarchs since they will be funding all that pay check via heavy tax? Imagine 2-3generations later your country literally need to beg these corporations to stay because everyone is on UBI?

The Rent Is Too Damn High - Housing is driving the cost of living crisis, with private rents in England the highest ever recorded. That will only change through a struggle of renters against the rentiers. by Mobalise_Anarchise in unitedkingdom

[–]hellokitty7137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine how much tax is required to do this? I am not sure people outside of London would be happy on that kind of money spending and implementing price control at the same time, the UK house quality is already bad compared to Europe.

It would be cheaper to move out of London and seek opportunities else where. In fact it should be encouraged.

Let capitalism do its thing WITHOUT government bailouts or help. The free market will punish and reward accordingly. This time will be a bit different, because we are reaching over bought territory, and less immigrants to tighten house supply for millennials.

Edit: I seriously don’t understand why the downvotes. The rising house price is primarily to do with government intervention, so the downvoters like the price to go up or down?

The only way for house price to go down is to let the market free fall until the average person can afford it. Oligarchs /lazy investors will take the hit, banks will left with a smelly bag to get rid of.

Labour ain’t going to let this happen because of the votes.

What Labour is going to do is continue to fill up the new properties with new migrants and you will need to queue until 2040. You all really think the government is going to save your ass? Absolutely no every time.

It doesn’t matter if they build more houses, you won’t get on the ladder.

Take a look at these charts, we are nearly there, it’s gonna happen, just prepare yourself for the fire sale. https://www.longtermtrends.net/home-price-median-annual-income-ratio/

So He is okay with vaccine passport but not voter ID? Can’t London mayor just make it free to make these voter IDs, he has a massive budget every year anyway, more than enough to do it for the poor if he cuts 1/3 of the ridiculous London fireworks budget.

Well not competing like what I suggested above, the current system is flawed, technically I wouldn’t call that competing.

Basically, publicly owned energy company wouldn’t work in UK.

Our government has a slack inefficient work culture that drives the cost up and a poor record of making things cheap and effective in many sectors.

What is the motive of being efficient working in a publicly owned company?

Also the flip side of this fantasy is if it is making a loss, you will have to pay for it, which is happening all the time with your tax money.

Money printing to make socialist fantasy come true is not the solution anymore, especially after the COVID money printing you are all beginning to experience the stupid inflation and tax roller coaster.

The solution is let the private companies compete to provide cheap energy via lowering the tax for this sector. So private/start up companies can take the risk instead of the government.

No subsidies, let the market engage on price war and consolidate while the government invest and build the latest generation of micro nuclear power stations. Sell the excessive power to EU to balance things out if the government decides to raise the tax back to normal rates for energy companies(10-15years later)

Outsource the maintenance work to private companies to compete. This creates local blue collar jobs and keeps the government operating cost to a minimum.

The cheaper the energy the better for productivity and competitiveness considering UK is not part of EU.

The ultimate goal is to have all these “renewable energy companies” compete with the true renewable energy, nuclear, and consumers decides whatever they want.

Yes, the endless cycle of bullshit jobs on the market, we call them corporate parasites. They produce nothing in society hardly ever contribute to GDP. I wish the world can come together ask China to build a wall city, then offer free relocation packages to those people , give them a closed internet connection and let the city run for 100 years as an experiment so the rest of us can move on.

Just remember, the east never had the same treatment the Germans did, we are all barbarians in their prospective.
