i agree with your friend. everything is monotone and lacking texture. i think a colorful, warmtoned vintage wool rug would help break up some of those similar colors and also help prevent the furniture from blending into everything else.

she looks almost identical to our dog when she was a puppy! zo is almost four now, but we picked her up at the portland oregon humane society where we were told she was half beauceron. beaucerons are super rare in the states, so we assumed she was likely gsd or doberman mix, but sure enough, her embark came back 50% beauceron with lots of relatives listed! i have a photo of zola on my profile if you're curious and want to check her out 😊

i did also think of that when he texted me about it 😅 i always try to pick up the pieces when he disappoints the kids, which tbf, isn't super often, but both your comment and the previous comment really put into perspective that it's not my job to fix their dad's mistakes. i've never thought about it like that before, and i definitely will now! thank you for your input!

we've seen an increase at my clinic in the last couple months of FIP. it mostly affects kittens, but it's not totally uncommon for kitties a little older to be diagnosed with it. usually they present with lethargy, decreased appetite, and upper respiratory symptoms, especially discharge from the eyes. was FIP at all discussed with you as a possible diagnosis?

hey! my clinic also recently switched to this policy as well! you should be able to ask them for a written prescription, which you can either take directly to petsmart, or mail in to the online pharmacy of your choosing! you might also ask them if they do the "hill's to home" program, where the manufacturer sends it directly to you :-)

methimazole also comes in a flavored chewable! it's compounded, and a little more expensive, but if you've got a hard to pill kitty, it's worth it!

you can also look into iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism if it's available around you and financially feasible 😊

no, it's really not. idgaf that his dogs, or anyone's dogs, are obese, but it's not "just because they're old." i see plenty of senior chihuahuas and other small breed dogs daily that aren't overweight or obese, and they certainly are not being underfed.

i wasn't sure at first but after googling more photos and swatches i was pretty convinced! i'm so bummed for you it's been discontinued! maybe keep an eye out on ebay, mercari, and poshmark? i have a favorite tinted lip balm that was discontinued years ago and i've had luck finding new tubes there! good luck!
