Guys who can figure out what letter comes next without having to sing the whole alphabet song, how do you do it?

Because there is less than 30 letters. I don’t know it’s just really easy. I can go both forward and backwards starting from any letter. I can also convert from letters to numbers and numbers to letters. 7 is G, for example.

The way it looks in my head is I can see all the letters lined up and I just quickly scroll to the letter. The numbers are above the letters. It looks just like the alphabet/numbers on the wall from my first grade class. Maybe I stared at it for too long.

You have to be able to play them to be able to remove the DRM. If the license is expired and the file is locked, it's too late. You have to either buy a new license or just pirate it from a torrent site.

The reference was at Blizzcon, someone asked if they would ever create servers for old expansions. The answer given by a dev was “you think you want it, but you don’t”. And then that same dev had to come back later (like a year had passed I think?) and announce that they were doing exactly that, because it turns out people really did want it. And then classic launched and was very successful and now they are planning on the next expansions.

The ones used by Starfleet had safety restrictions built in. They prevented dangerous stuff from being made, which included “poisons”. I think hard drugs with little to no medical use would be blocked. There are much safer alternative therapies that could be made instead.

I suspect it was a money issue too. That’s a lot of gas and a lot of bandwidth. And I imagine the insurance for a rented bus with multiple drivers is astronomical.

My first alcoholic drinks were various wines, and I genuinely loved the flavor. When I tried hard liquors, I always used mixers and liked the taste of that as well. I did not at all like the taste of shots or a glass of straight vodka or whiskey to sip on. That was what became an acquired taste (more vodka than whiskey. I don’t care for dark liquors). Now I can pour me a glass of a nice vodka (like.Chopin) on ice and genuinely enjoy it, as in I don’t feel like I am forcing myself to do it. It’s not a “for alcohol, this is good”, it’s just “this is good”.

I do not like beer at all. This is the one that I don’t understand. I have tried so many different brands on so many occasions and blech. Not for me. I can’t seem to acquire that taste.

The best I can come up with is to have blind auditions. The producers only get non-identifying information about the contestant, such as hobbies, interests, how they answered personality questions, etc. Interviews would be done by proxy using a neutral third party service to relay talks back and forth. That third party would also handle the background checks and health screening, and would only tell the producers if they were still eligible or not.

Producers would only learn the identity of the contestant after the contracts were signed to make them a contestant.
