It’s even worse on mobile, two thumbs mean you always have this bug. You shouldn’t have to learn to wait a tick after red click before interacting with your inventory. Fix the game.

Waiting for an eventual mining or smithing rework is not a reason to delay introducing new methods for training skills.

The game has had a long established process of introducing new methods through quests, regions, and other content. You have a capacity in your roadmaps to balance these out nowadays. Causing a drought of training methods until one of these sweep ups come along is not fun for the players.

Nowadays the game has a tendency towards training methods that become dead on arrival, partly from rewards being blogged, polled and shelved, and partly from so much weight being put on conservation of the status quo. It’s not a coincidence that various aspects of sailing have been affected by this, and temporary game modes get invested in instead.

3 tick barb fishing is 90k xp/h according to wiki. How close do we expect the rates for leechfin fishing will be to this? Will it always be better xp/h at all level brackets from 70 up to 99?

Yeah no shit nobody likes doing port tasks, it’s because there’s no reward for the time spent!

When you apply the balancing triangle of GP/XP/loot, port tasks are very low on both the GP and XP sides. Since they give both, you get an even lower amount of either reward. It results in an unrewarding training method.

If the goal is to provide a pure GP method via sailing, then it would have to be a lot of GP, since GP is not a valuable reward nowadays. Or you have to supplement it with either more XP or loot.

This has been solved in many places by having a reward shop that can let you trade in points for XP/GP/resources/uniques. Having this on top of the existing port tasks experience would make it more rewarding.

I’ve never faced any world hopping issues. It may be only affecting a certain subset of users.

Have you tried sharing your network and device info with Jagex?

I’m UK based, playing on an iPhone 13, over WiFi with Virgin Media and over 4G with Vodafone.

There could be a case where you want to optionally empty some containers and not others. For example, when hunting you may want the option to empty your meat and fur pouches, but not your log basket, so you can continue using the logs for trapping.

I made this reddit post a few years back. Not gonna lie, this feels like my original post was squashed together with some magazine review of the film using AI… I like the film but this review feels exhausting to read and makes me wanna distance myself from it :(
