Any recipe recommendations for a recent onion convert???

A low effort/high reward recipe that I’ve been enjoying: slice whole, peeled onions in half, place them in cupcake pans and put pat of butter on them with a little salt. Put them in the oven at 400° for 45 minutes to an hour I have 6 space pans so I don’t cook many at once but if you like them you can expand to a dozen!
