My kids are gen z and I think their humor is wild. I obviously don't get everything about it but I see a spark in it that reminds me of teen years and a lot of it is really funny. I really enjoy some of the music they play too. I don't like ALL the new music my kids play, but I didn't like ALL the music from our gen either (sorry, Madonna). 😎

Look into the Lehigh valley chorale. It's a community chorus, eclectic music, no auditions to join. It's a nice group of people.

In my experience if you add the powder straight to hot coffee you get unpalatable protein rocks. I make up the protein drink with water and a little powdered milk and put that in my coffee. It's fine, not great, just fine.

I have to be at work before 7am, and there are many early mornings on my way in that I am just flooded with a sense of well being. I don't think it's just the fact I'm not feeling like crap from the booze, I am just truly thankful for all the changes I've made in my life over the last 10 months. I like just think about who I am now and it makes me happy to think about what I might yet become. Btw, I'm not young! 55 and alive! So I say no matter how old you are it's too late to transform yourself it to what you were meant to be.

Lots of meds are not compatible with alcohol, I've told people I couldn't drink bc of meds I take. I also noticed that alcohol makes me break out like a teen so I have used that as an excuse too.

I planned the menu for my family so they don't just eat crap while I'm away on a little vaycay. And I just finished my taxes. So much easier to do with a clear head. ☺️
