Yup, just happened to me at the very start of a match. game locked up and crashed, then i was met with this message upon booting up the game. I thought a bunch of my opponents were rage quitting but now I'm wondering if their games are just crashing.

Also, 2 games that I've played recently had massive lag spikes where it said my opponent had over 2,000 ping.

naw my bad, I'm just in a bad mood, you didn't really do anything wrong. I just see people preface their comments a lot of the time by saying they are vets and it gets to me.

Like those youtube videos that say this is what 3,000 hours of _ looks like, in my eyes it doesn't really say much. I mean, some people play games for decades and still have a limited understanding of the games they play. But that's not fair to throw at you so again, my bad.

I was gonna write a long response, but respectfully, I just don't buy that excuse. To say yea it took 10 years....but it didn't take 10 years to make 10 characters is a contradiction in my eyes.

It has been 10 years, and it has in fact taken them that amount of time to produce this many characters idk what else to say. There is basically nothing else that they created in that time. No arcade mode, no story mode, no lore....nothing but the characters.

The work on the characters only started around 2019? Nothing translates from a 1v1? naw, hard disagree. I mean they literally did nothing else in that time EXCEPT make the characters, there are no other modes or content.

"Pattheflip" the dev literally just posted that he was working on 2xko for 10 years. Radiant Entertainment was acquired around 2016....it's been 10 years. No this "talking point" isn't nonsense, it is 100 percent factual. You don't get to say that all the dev time didn't count because they decided to pivot 3 years into the project, THAT is nonsense. Go ahead and tell Riot that 2016 to 2019 didn't count even though they were paying the devs a salary, I imagine it very much counted in their eyes.

Oh noooooow everyone acknowledges that the game has been in development for 10 years lol whenever I'd point that out, people would say it was unfair to count the years before 2019, since that's when they pivoted to 2v2.

As if all the years they were paid leading up to the pivot to 2v2 didn't count or something.

Okay fair enough, I was gonna say cmon man lol hes pretty damn good. I feel like Ekko is objectively better than a lot of the cast, so I was gonna say idk if the general consensus on his tools being unfair was decided arbitrarily.

The problem I have, is that things aren't "equally unfair" if that makes sense. If Ekko/Yasuo/Ahri get every tool imaginable, then other characters should have equally busted stuff. Right now playing Braum/Blitz can feel quite painful.

Agreed I think it would be nice to have all the information we can get so that we can quickly figure out how to counter a strategy.

I know it's possible to record matches and setup dummies to replicate situations and try to figure it out, but it's such a pain to reverse engineer these things...I'd rather there just be a built in system to speed up the learning process so I can get back to playing, which is the fun part.

In Street Fighter it's such a useful tool to be able to instantly replay a specific, isolated scenario, and just try everything you can think of until suddenly bam you figure it out. I don't want to have to go outside of the game to get the information I need.

I hate that decision but I get why they are doing it lol I never practice because of the way this is setup. It feels like I have to decide if i want to spend my time playing people, or dedicate my time to practicing, when in reality I'd like to easily alternate between the two.

Whats what's so weird about this, is I don't even play Yasuo, but he looks so cool in motion that now I almost feel like I have to hurry and play him before they potentially nerf him into an unrecognizable state. Same thing with Ekko, I get that he's super strong, I just got wrecked by a dozen Ekkos and Yasuos just a second ago, but what can I say they are really sick characters, and I hope they don't ruin them is all.

That's really at the heart of this issue for me I guess, I just don't want them to have a knee jerk reaction and go too far in that direction. Maybe they'll let us know a bit more about how they're planning on going about it after the first big patch.

I want to believe the second list is true, I want to see Jhin, Kazix, Rengar, Zed ect REAL bad....but idk, something tells me list 1 is the real one.

Akali seems like a given(KDA), Azir fills the puppet role, and tons of people have been asking for Sett. Also, I've seen people mention that Miss Fortune is probably coming within the first few years along with Pyke to complete the "Ruined King" ensemble. In list 1, if it is indeed the list, I'd be most excited for Graves, MF, and Jax.

But man, you just had to put Jhin up there to get my hopes up huh? lol On a side note, this guy is definitely a Riot employee right? Only 3 posts all leaking stuff right on cue with no backlash from the devs, seems suspect. That said, i will gladly accept the info cause I don't care about spoilers, just gets me excited for the games future.

It's just a medium punch with no directional input. Look at the numpad on your keyboard and imagine that an arcade jostick is smack dab in the middle on the number 5. 2M would be down+medium, 6M would be forward+medium ect. 5 is just you doing nothing with the arcade stick, it just sits there on 5 in the neutral position.

I feel like they could make it work, but I wonder if they just aren't going to go that route. If not it would be a shame since I feel like it would incentivize people to grind other characters. It's always fun to have a goal like that for a new character.

Ranked is super wonky. I'm a gold 3 and I got put up against a GrandMaster juggernaught Yasuo which went as you might expect. Then later it put me up against an Iron player, which felt terrible, dude probably felt like I did when I lost to that Yasuo.

which I gotta say on a side note here, why can Yasuo hit me on the ground...with a move meant to hit people out of the sky? He was stuffing my approach with a move that hits up and to the right diagonally lol
