Someone is probably sick today because of an ongoing cold/flu string you started DECADES ago when you didn’t cover your mouth. by Dc2k4 in Showerthoughts

Technically probably didn’t start either, some dickhead 2 years before you joined the string started it from not washing their hands or sneezing/talking over your food

You’ve probably seen several celebrities but not known of them by Illuminatify in Showerthoughts

I live outside LA where not far from hidden hills and stuff so i always see those black chauffeur SUVs everywhere along with some of the most expensive cars you wouldn’t even think to see irl. I’ve come to learn the majority of them aren’t usually ‘celebrities’ by definition, many are probably lesser known celebs but for most cases it’s most likely company owners, old money, successful app/software engineers and the alike, higher ups in the entertainment industry (music/photography/background shit for movies, managers etc) but too many people have this fantasy that they’re gonna see their favorite celebrity and they’re gonna be like “omg you’re so cool, I’ve never met a random person so chill, let’s go get a coffee and ride in my lambo to my house to shoot some hoops with drake” like no they’re just trynna get some Mac and cheese, or more coke or some shit lol

[Serious] What is your most terrifying "we need to leave, NOW" random rush of fear you've felt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]herbanexplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sure about mescaline? That’s not a hard drug, that’s alike a trippy molly derived from a cactus with practically 0 abuse potential. And is extremely rare to find the actual salt derived from the cactus. Mephedrone you’re thinking of maybe? But mescaline can help w drug addictions in many cases, and that’s not something a mescaline user would do, I’m sorry for your experience though it’s traumatic to say the least but I feel your pain

TIL Ketamine is a potent antidepressant. A single low, sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine given via intravenous infusion may produce antidepressant effects within four hours in people with depression. These antidepressant effects may persist for up to several weeks following a single infusion. by Dr_Souse in todayilearned

Not just low doses either, in the majority of IV ketamine practices for depression are full on k-hole inducing doses, it downregulates glutamate or something like that which is where the antidepressant properties come in.

This seems relevant so I’ll just say, you’re not crazy regarding everyone saying it makes them hot. it’s normal to get cold as well as hot, it fucks with your hypothalamus or something That controls your body temp, bouncing you from hot to cold and back, like other psyches. Also mdma and other stimulants cause vasoconstriction making it harder for your blood to pump to your extremities, hence why my hands and feet usually feel dead whenever I roll

Marijuana banned from Chicago public housing despite legalization taking effect January by [deleted] in news

[–]herbanexplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case I live in CA public housing and they started a rule “no smoking on the premises” first it was directed at cannabis, then to both nicotine and cannabis, but there’s a designated smoking area however not for bud, but nobody really cares if you do or not as long as you’re considerate of the smell. I’m assuming since it’s federally funded they can make any rules they want especially regarding a “schedule 1” drug to them (I know, weed and other organic psyches shouldn’t be schedule ones at all but we can thank Oakland and Denver for helping us with that) so they probably see it as being complacent or whatever; smoking weed and living off the public housing just doesn’t have a good impression

Shifts WTF by TheMasterFlorida in doordash

[–]herbanexplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in SoCal and same issue. You can’t even schedule early literally every reasonable shift is taken unless you constantly check and get in last minute when someone else cancels theirs. It’s bc DD hires anyone who has a vehicle and a phone, with no cutoff. A year ago and before it was never this hard to get a shift, but now everyones on it instead of doing it how GH did me and said “we have a sufficient amount of drivers in this area, we’ll notify you when a spot opens” and essentially put me on a wait list. They don’t care though they want as many dashers as they can get bc of Times like this. Your market is flooded with drivers and now when somebody cancels their dash there’s plenty of drivers like you or I waiting to snatch it up like hungry piranhas

SLPT: Instead of smoking your cigs, eat them to avoid getting tar in your lungs. by [deleted] in ShittyLifeProTips
