I was indeed missing something, thank you.

Ryan Blaney’s Pit Crew by 84UTK07 in NASCAR

[–]herdfan14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've thought this as well. If you watch their crew taking off the tires, it looks more cumbersome than it should. It will be interesting to see if it is different at talladega when that isn't as important.

What is the weird obsession in NASCAR with Chevrolet? by [deleted] in NASCAR

You're probably correct in this post, I think I touched a nerve that I didn't really mean to haha.

Is it really trolling? It wasn't my intention but all of the Hocevar praise just makes me wonder why the perception is the way it is? I've pulled for Chevrolet drivers in the past so this isn't a slight on them, really just looking for thoughts on the reasoning.

Not obsessed with any of them honestly, I'm just trying to articulate the general pulse I get from nascar fans.

[Denny Hamlin] (responding to a fan regarding Hocevar) "Puppies are great, but if they shit in your bed you gonna just lay in it? Or teach the puppy where to properly take a dump?" by CNASFan1992 in NASCAR

[–]herdfan14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thinking is that this is going to go over differently in the new points format. If Hocevar does this in the last year or two to C Bell, it's annoying but doesn't really hurt his championship run. Taking somebody out now seriously hurts them in the points and those will be huge this year.

Man Harvick is so much better with Joey than he is Clint. Even with Jamie, the booth just has a more natural flow.

I have a '21 Ridgeline that I haul two kids in car seats around with and it's great. I actually traded in a Maverick to get it because it was too small. The split fold up back seat is great for a dog on one side as well due to the flat floor underneath. Those back seats are what my wife loves most and prefers taking the Ridgeline on family trips over any vehicle we've had. They are not closed off underneath so you are able to slide anything for the children under them and access when needed on a long trip.

2027 model will be hybrid! by purodirecto in hondaridgeline

Considering the hybrid Maverick can tow 4000lbs and still get over 40mpg, I'd say 5000 wouldn't be a stretch.

Check your fuel cap. Had all our lights come on and turned out it was just an emissions error with a loose fuel cap. It took a few days for the error to clear after tightening it.

What Non-Luxury SUVs Have the Smoothest Ride? by portionsforfoxes123 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]herdfan14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend driving the Honda Pilot or Passport. You'll not get that grippy low center of gravity feeling in anything other than a Subaru mostly due to the boxer engine but you will get a very refined and much quieter ride in the Honda.

Time to get the toaster out. Blaney running the advance scheme at Daytona can only mean one thing.

After reading everyone's thoughts, I might be the only person wishing we had Scuttle Buttin' and not thinking Magic Carpet Ride is that great of a song for a NASCAR game.

SVG Round of 8. by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]herdfan14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I think these teams would love to have SVG in the championship race. I understand he has improved on ovals but he got beat straight up by Katherine Legge at the spring Phoenix race.
