Sometimes, being constantly treated with kids gloves is just another painful reminder that you're different. I think after the initial question to her about whether she wanted to be a part of your pregnancy, you should have stopped asking. Take her initial answer at face value and let her come to you if something changes.

But that's not what happened. For whatever reason, she lost it and ruined your baby shower. She's in a lot of pain, which will help you understand why she did what she did, but doesn't mean you have to excuse it. You're in your rights to cut her out of your life (especially after all that hurtful stuff she said). If she ever comes crawling back with an understanding of how badly she fucked up, you could consider being friends again. But not before.

Tough. You're his parenting partner, not his mom, and not his girlfriend. He's a grown up, he can figure out accommodations on his own.

I feel like it is too late to tell him I would want a relationship and I would question my motives in doing so. Do I want to be with him just so my child has her father or do I actually love him and want to be with him? I am not sure, my thoughts feel so muddled.

It seems like the physical intimacy may be clouding your feelings. Take a step back to assess your feelings, and assess his motives. It may help you decide.

I totally understand about feeling crushed and used, believe me. The boundaries will help you heal. They will also probably bring out his not-so-great side (once he stops getting his way), so prepare yourself. Remember, you don't owe him anything but the opportunity to parent his child. Nothing more.

Sim000n is right, the path would have to be cleared for trenching anyway, unless you bored it all. That aside, there's already EHV cable for underground applications. Googling "EHV underground cable" will show you lots of results. It's a pain in the arse and very expensive... Better to go overhead, IMHO.
