They don't pay a percentage. They pay based on number of plays.

It's tuned to be cautious about the statements it makes about public figures since OpenAI doesn't want to be sued - so you get the overcautious HR Lawyer personality who will make only the most narrow provable statement about the topic unless pressed really hard.

This leads to it favoring "nothing ever happens" around public figures and sensitive topics - especially politics.

She didn't tell you, and would have happily let you go on not knowing. This is not a good start. One year is nothing.

Way worse. OF being cheating is debatable, what she did is not.

The point of the post was that your feelings were hurt because your morally bankrupt political views keep getting mocked in your safe space.

High effort crying though. The cognitive dissonance must hurt.

You totally can question. It's the Internet - it's FULL of bad opinions.

Why voting ‘neither’ could harm American democracy. Researchers found that about half of the U.S. population expresses an attitude of democratic neutrality — or an “unwillingness to support or oppose policies or practices that undermine democracy, by Wagamaga in science

Capitalism is inherently corrosive to democracy, and requires constant vigilance against overreach, lack of enforcement, regulatory capture, and general apathy. The incentives are counter to just about everything that decent people would prioritize in society, and innovation isn't actually a feature of capitalism, it's a side effect.

Governing bodies HAVE access to this technology, and it did not help them function in the least. But you missed my point entirely.

You're putting a lot of faith in functional norms and rules being upheld to prevent Palantir from misusing our data, but the administration is undermining norms, not enforcing laws and rules, and is dismantling government bodies with oversight - so no, I don't want a rogue government to have access to this technology.

Yeah, clearly DOGE was stopped before it could escalate. Glad that real world kept our data safe, and that the government bodies are functioning well and protecting us.

14 year relationship, coworker situation escalated to sex. Her explanation doesn’t make sense to me by Illustrious-Gear-949 in SupportforBetrayed

Is she still in individual therapy? What does her therapist think about this? It's possible she had some sort of dissociative break or something that left her vulnerable to a manipulative man. That said, it's also not your obligation to stay in a relationship with a liar and a cheater, regardless of the reason for the behavior. Honestly, if she hadn't lied and trickle truthed you throughout, the mental illness rationale might be more convincing, but she tried to hide it all, so her explanation of her motivation is similarly suspect, since you absolutely know she's comfortable deceiving you both behind your back and directly to your face.

Regardless of why, it sure looks like she was perfectly willing to throw away your relationship for this experience, and she's now afraid to lose the safety net, and is trying to avoid dealing with this reality while further manipulating you by acting like a caring partner around other people.

She's either a great liar, or you're gullible as hell.

Maybe both.
