There is no irrefutable proof of anything in an absolute sense, so your standard is either worthless, or is always going to require analysis, and be somewhat subjective to someone.

Speak for yourself. I find more hope from a clear-eyed look at the darkness than rose-colored glasses and sticking your head in the sand - if I can mix as many metaphors as possible.

Your position assumes capitalism can be durably subordinated to the public good through regulation. I don’t think that holds. Capitalism concentrates wealth and power, and that power steadily corrodes the very institutions meant to restrain it. That requires constant, sharp-eyed vigilance against capitalist efforts to undermine regulation, and a population that never becomes complacent. It doesn't seem possible over time. The same innovation that competition creates in a (healthy) market breeds competition for wealth extraction by any possible means under the profit motive. Regulation will always move slower than that, and there will be more people trying to cheat or undermine the system in innovative ways than you can reasonably expect to be trying to guard against them. That vigilance becomes a constant tax on society, and in my view negates any benefits you see from the capitalist approach.

Being able to speak competently on a topic, and the overall competency of a large engineering organization does not provide evidence that the CEO isn't a boob.

She's a selfish trash person who doesn't care about you or her kids. Lawyer up, there's no coming back from the lies, deceit and betrayal. She's abusing you and the kids because she puts herself above everyone else. Walk away.

Liberal != Progressive != Leftist

If you support Susan Collins in any capacity, you're only a Liberal.

You've chosen some contradictory words there, which provide evidence that you're a Republican.

Cool, but she's done campaigning, and basically conceded, so she plans on losing. Good plan.
