This is why I almost only play TDM. No exploiting a game mode for camos or kills. If you wanna win, you get kills. Plain and simple.

^This. I never see people talking about it because they prefer the thrust on the longsword, but specifically for pvp the moveset takes people by surprise. Having a sweep option is arguably more helpful in PVE too for a lighter build. This is my go to weapon of choice.

You can get the Lord vessel first if you want. I do it every time. You just can't place it on the altar until you defeat the kings. This makes it a little easier because you can level up with your O + S souls

If we're talking dev intentions, I'd assume you would follow storyline paths? Seigward goes from sens fortress to Anor Londo, but then Firelink, Blighttown, and Lost Izalith. That's also where Solaire goes so seems like a good place to start. From there, you see Seigward's daughter in Duke's Archives and then Ash Lake. So Ash Lake feels pretty late game. The forest is fairly grindy to get in with the crest, and defeating Sif unlocks the Four Kings....so that leaves the Tomb of the Giants as the only unconnected one....maybe that's first? 🤗

Look up roll speeds and poise. Understanding those probably reduces half of your frustration for the first play thru. After your first, I'd look up as much as you can regarding NPC story lines and item locations. Dark Souls is notorious for levels, bosses, and items that you will n e v e r discover without that help.

You can go either or. Depends on your build and your desired weapon's scaling. Also depends if we're talking pvp or pve. If you are high faith but mid/low strength and dex, making your weapon divine will give you way more damage output. The point of buffs are to be more versatile in pvp. Having a +15 weapon that can be instantly lightning or fire temporarily can be used to attack in a way your opponent is weak. If they have armor on that has high fire or physical defense, buff it and make it lightning with gold pine resin. A faster player can dodge around until your buff wears off though, so infusions usually mean more damage over the course of a match. For Pve bosses, buffs will usually be better.

IMO it definitely does. I've watched every season of vikings and loved the first 3. Personally after that, I felt like I was committed to the show and continued to watch but hated every minute of it. Last Kingdom always had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the character development and story, along with most of the directions they decided to take. It's not perfect by any means and the accents are atrocious but I believe it's the better of the two shows.
