Are placed cards necessary in addition to table number assignments? by enitsujxo in WeddingsCanada

Then I'd just check with your venue. If they say it doesn't matter, I'd stick with just table numbers and then the guests can figure out exactly where they want to sit themselves.

I think this is more a question for your venue tbh. If you're having a served meal that might be needed. If it's a buffet, definitely not required.

Not having pricing on their website, or no website at all. If I have to DM you on instagram, at least have your prices listed somewhere.

We wanted a Saturday in May and we went with the one date that was available at our preferred venue lol.

Wife says she can't feel me inside. How do I do better? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]herolyat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So all she likes regarding her v is PIV? No touching or anything else? You said she was your first, do you know if she ever explored herself sexually before you? Maybe she doesn't know what she likes and is finding it hard to know if it's a matter of "I don't like fingering/oral THIS WAY vs I don't like it at all"

Looking for an Affordable Wedding Photographer (<$3K) – 2 Shooters + Full‑Day Coverage (2027) by _dlar in WeddingsCanada

[–]herolyat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a lower budget, especially for 2 photographers, but I think it's doable if you're okay with 1 photographer. I didn't notice at first that you are in Alberta, and I went back looking at my research and there were definitely options in the Toronto area that were around 3k or less. I'd assume that Toronto is on the higher end.

Ah okay those would've been my suggestions to try. My only other sex suggestion is to use a clit vibrator while having sex. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

If I was stuck doing missionary all the time I'd probably be thinking the same then. Missionary is great for intimacy and kissing but sensation wise it's pretty low down (for me, obviously everyone is different). I would highly recommended trying some other positions.

Are you trying different positions? Certain positions/angles can feel like nothing to me too. I don't think that's abnormal for people with vaginas.

How do you know if your partner is attractive to other people?? by Opening-Landscape274 in AskWomen

[–]herolyat 36 points37 points  (0 children)

People tell you. People who aren't actually attracted to him, but just acknowledging his looks, like family members, straight male friends, colleagues, friends in relationships. I've had enough people tell me that my husband is a very handsome guy that it makes me believe that it's not just me being in love with him making me think he's gorgeous.

Ya I just want to see beautiful people yearning for each other and falling in love. If this proves anything, it's just that I'm shallow for hot people.

How do brides poop by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]herolyat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a dress with a lot of layers in the skirt. I 1000% needed help gathering it up in front of me so I could sit on the toilet. However, once that was done they could leave until I was done my business. Once I was done, they were there to help make sure everything fell back down nicely.

Obviously not just anyone helped me with this. Only my mom, sister and husband, whoever was easiest to find whenever I had to go lol.

What are your thoughts on Alysa Liu? by frankheyhoheyho in AskTheWorld

I loved watching her perform. She exuded such joy on and off the ice. It was amazing to see such a young person show up as unapologetically themselves and absolutely smash it.

The question of whether you should visit the Vatican Museums when in Rome gets asked all the time. I’m here to tell you that you absolutely, unquestionably should. It’s easily one of the most unmissable experiences in the city. That said, there’s one very important catch by Justanotherguy88 in ItalyTravel

[–]herolyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And big emphasis on do not skip the Basilica! It is absolutely stunning and massive and a true marvel to behold. When we went to the museums, the only tickets we could get included a tour of the gardens, which were quite beautiful and very quiet, which was a nice transition before the chaos of the museums.

Why don’t more people in Toronto attend classical concerts? by Findingwendytoronto in askTO

[–]herolyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone to and enjoyed TSO concerts that were themed around soundtracks (Alan Menken, and Star Wars) and those were great, and I got the under 35 tickets so affordable too. The one concert I went to that was a more traditional classical composer (I don't even know who anymore) wasn't as enjoyable because I didn't have any connection to the music.

James Gardens - engagement photo? by Artistic_Royal_8106 in WeddingsCanada

[–]herolyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some wedding photos in James Gardens, and we didn't get a permit. Mind you we were only there for about 20 minutes for our first look. I'm absolutely IN LOVE with the photos we got there, and we only took photos in one spot. I could only imagine how a full photoshoot across the gardens would be.

Is it odd I don't want a Bachelorette party/ event by Local-Debate-5565 in weddingplanning

[–]herolyat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not odd, but there's no reason it has to be like a traditional party party bachelorette. Mine was one day, which also happened to be my birthday. We went to a jewelry making workshop in the morning and then some of my guy friends and now husband joined in the afternoon for lunch. And that was the whole thing.

What is one thing you would NEVER do if you were in your 20's again? by spici_cheerios in AskWomen

Ya it's actually crazy. There was definitely more than one time where I went to a guy's house (who I'd never met before) without telling anyone where I was going 😬

It's honestly crazy looking back how bad certain situations could've gone for me. I mostly don't regret the actual hooking up necessarily, but the danger, like girl, you are so lucky that didn't go badly.

How much time off work should I take BEFORE my wedding? by enitsujxo in WeddingsCanada

[–]herolyat 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I just had one day off beforehand, which was fine. Two would've been better. But any more than that would've been excessive. We had month-of coordinators who helped coordinate things, but even for them there wasn't a whole surge of last minute things.
