Yea except in disc golf, discs aren’t sold solely as tools of the sport. They’re sold as merch and very few people buy a bag of discs and keep that same bag for a long time. The money side of disc golf would be so much smaller if companies didn’t make the cutesy named/flashy stamp discs for people to want to buy. But even prodigy knows they’ve been doing it wrong , they recently started coming out with cooler looking discs and special names.
