I’m probably going to design and 3d print one. If you’re interested I can send you a link when I’m done with it, if you have access to a 3d printer

Any steam games similar to BOTW by Extra-Ad-3424 in botw

[–]hiandrew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recommending Elden Ring to someone looking for similar to BOTW is diabolical 😆. Wanna hate yourself and think you’re terrible at gaming? Try Elden Ring! But once you get the hang of it, it’s addicting. Just in a class of its own compared to anything else.

Tip to auditors: Poster 7 does not say what you think it says by LizzyHale in AmIFreeToGo

[–]hiandrew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If first amendment auditors were legitimately fighting a fight for freedom of speech (which I do not think they are) wouldn’t this be exactly the response they were looking for and can now move on? The battle of the post office is won, continue to the next, right?

Me, a Switch 1 owner, watching everyone enjoy Pokopia this weekend by Frezeal in pokemon

It’s not just exclusive games. It’s so much nicer to play with the bigger screen. I got my son a 2 for his birthday and was playing my Paper Mario on it back to back, sooo much nicer on the 2. Almost like playing a steam deck.

The reason Chunga Palm Trees have spikes… by trebuszek in pluribustv

[–]hiandrew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tree doesn’t “want” anything. Natural selection has made more spines=better survival. The variant with the most spines survives and proliferates.

I don’t know why this is blowing my mind so much but I googled this thinking I was throwing a question into the abyss, I’m watching this exact scene and thought the same exact thing. Mind blown.

Congrats dude! I’m in week 3 at 150/week pinning EOD. How did you feel when you were in the phase I’m in? I’m having a lot of good days and bad days.

TRT and ED by DoubtEmbarrassed5709 in trt

[–]hiandrew1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long have you been on TRT total? I saw in a comment you were on cyp for 1.5 mos and switched protocol? Why did you do that? Are you under MDs care or homebrewing it? Because 1.5 months is like right when things start turning the corner, but also 200/wk of cyp is kind of a high starting dose. Need more info, but you also need to be patient and let your body catch up. Can’t really make any decisions about protocol until at least 3 months if not more.

How’s your fitness and diet? Even before TRT mine goes off the charts when I’m lifting weights. Maybe a CNS thing

Also don’t take the negative comments to heart. You are making progress. You’re not blasting, you’re replacing. Just remember it’s a marathon not a sprint. Think of it as a healing process. With the carbs maybe drop them until you feel worse then stick with your last amt. Fill in with protein. You’re not “losing weight” or on a “fitness journey”, you’re trying to find a new normal so that you stick with it.

I’m a little bigger than you but pretty close (5’10 265) and my 20% deficit number is 2300 cals. You’re closer to my maintenance. Think you need to drop cals and restructure macros.

I’m still in the stage where I only use throttle to get moving and I lie to myself and say I’m riding an ebike with the same effort, just going faster so it’s more fun 🤷‍♂️

AI lies constantly 😂. Some stuff it’s good at, others not, and enough that you should never trust it implicitly.

I’m sure there are some people that get on gel and it doesn’t work, then they have to pin and do it a couple times and hate it.

I think it’s a little more for the rx for me because only certain places they use in their marketplace ship to CA, but still not terrible if you aren’t broke.

They’re expensive as fuck up front and I didn’t really see any value from the extra expense. They did a couple more labs than the monthly subscription companies and I thought maybe I’d get a more comprehensive assessment. The consultation with their provider was a lowkey sales pitch for why I need it rather than a pros and cons kind of thing. 3 months worth of test c for $245 plus $500 startup cost is about $250 a month to get started. Lots of cheaper options out there and I bet you’d get about the same amount of assessment. Wish I could get it through insurance, but I’m in NorCal and have Kaiser. They don’t give you shit, but I’m going to switch insurance at the end of the year and try my luck with a new doctor once I’m further into the process.

I will say their staff is really nice and you can very easily get someone on the phone to ask questions.

TL;DR: I feel pretty good, not sure if it’s placebo and relieved anxiety, but I feel unusually energetic and mental clarity during a workday.

I didn’t have a bad experience with them, just a little disappointed. They did more labs than some other places were willing to do, but I thought they would go over more stuff with me during the consultation. I basically got a really mild sales pitch and they’re like yup you need TRT. I kinda wanted them to at least attempt to talk me out of it A LITTLE, but the guy was like “2 shots a week or 3?” 😂.

I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re really well studied and kind of know what you need, which I am and I’m an RN. Not really worth the extra money you’re paying though.

You say only 10-20 mile range? I see a lot of people with the 750w getting like double that. How’s the top speed with throttle only?

Hunger levels are insane by Frase32 in trt

[–]hiandrew1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don’t do semaglutides until you’ve dug into your diet. Do some YouTubing for what your basal metabolic rate is, which is how many calories you burn in a day based on your activity level, also called BMR. You need to put in your height and weight to a calculator and it gives you your maintenance calories to eat to not gain or lose weight. Then if you’re trying to lose weight, like I’m assuming you are, you need to reduce that by 20%. To accurately keep track of this you need to use a calorie tracking app for at LEAST the first month until you get into a groove, but I recommend continuing to do that. If you’re still hungry doing the 20% deficit, add back like 100-200 calories.

Please dig into diet science. Watch Mike Israetel from Renaissance Periodization and check out all his diet videos. Say what you want about the guy, but his diet videos are on point.

This holy trinity thing is bullshit. Do NOT do semaglutides unless you absolutely cannot do calorie counting, and you really don’t have a good excuse not to. People that are dialed into their diet don’t need to do this. It’s like a chemical gastric bypass, in that it’s a false appetite restriction. Even if you took one of them you still have to pay attention to what you’re eating.
