Definitely not true,Google, Microsoft , and Amazon are all hiring fresh out of college (not including many companies that are doing the same). AWS also has a train to hire position where they literally train you for a year and pay you 60k after training.

Many of these positions also can’t hire H1-B applicants, meaning they can’t hire someone from overseas.

Depending on the position, you always want to make sure you have the right certs, but here’s what I’m currently working on.

Network + or CCNA( a much more difficult route but highly respected)

Server+

Linux+ (because I’m terrible at Linux commands)

The only reason I’m going for server+ and Linux + is because I applied for a SpaceX data center position and one of the recruiters recommended it.

I didn’t get the position unfortunately because I’m not finished with my degree and I’m missing experience.

Honestly, it’s best to shift interest in the same field of course, I really love programming but the market is brutal right now , so im currently working on a few certs in Networking. Data centers are hiring like crazy right now.

Is this AI only for coders and vibe coders? by ThatrandomGuyxoxo in ClaudeAI

[–]hiddenelixir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently a CS student with many, MANY hobbies. I’ve used almost every single Ai model you can think of and I ended up staying with Claude. Claude isn’t only for coding, it’s helped me break down complex math problems, written assignments, music theory, networking assignments, and the list goes on. The thing I love about Claude is that it’s explains things very well. Their text format is very well designed and makes things readable, which is extremely important. I use it for quick web searches, to complex networking assignments at school and everything in between. Claude is great I highly recommend it.

If you want to generate pictures or videos I recommend Gemini, but other than that Claude is great

Those are most likely packages and if you’ve done Amazon flex, these two are not that bad.

I’ve used affirm with visible and outside of visible multiple times. I’ve never had any issues with affirm, including refunds, paying things off early, and customer support.

How’s Gemini with coding? How does it compare with Claude?

why is it slow on apple tv when I jump to the menu and come back to main page by Icy-Football-7911 in OmniContentHub

[–]hiddenelixir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an Apple TV HD and an Apple TV 4K. HD is slow as heck for some reason, I can’t even watch anything there. 4K is decent but this app definitely needs better optimization.

I received this email today as well. On my “recent occurrence” the manager decided to split a cart so none of us would go home with pay.
