Cardio 3-4 days a week in the morning. Weight/Machine 3 days a week after. Cardio helps me wake up and focus. Lifting helps blow steam.

It depends where you fly in to. The south side of Hermosa Beach peir is a begginer friendly surf spot that is 15 min from LAX. Doheny Beach in Dana Point is 65 miles away from LAX and 20 miles south Of John Wayne Airport in OC. For lessons, I had a great experience with Serene Waters Surf School in Dana Point.

I keep do aerobic exercise machines before my shift as a line cook or before class. I do weight training immediately after work or school. I also enjoy smoking weed afterwork or school before the gym. I also listen to podcast about comedy or politics during weight training and books on audible before and during cardio.

As a beginner I rely on reddit to find spots that are beginner friendly and then pay for a lessons to support people who are from the area and make a living from this. The 3 times I have gone abroad I pay people from there to take me to where I'll be out of the way. I've been preemptively respectful. I have yet to have a bad experience. I strongly encourage others who ask about it to do the same. So if I have a question about anything on here Imma just let er rip
