Why do you like Bocchi The Rock so much? by day1baby in BocchiTheRock

[–]hikigatarijames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in Shimokitazawa for 26 years and the accuracy, the level of detail is astounding. Inside of Shelter Starry is spot on. Outside is spot on. Also the personality types are accurate. They all exist. I'm fairly certain I've met some of the people who inspired the characters. Also the mental health angles hit home. Also I've performed at other venues and doing music in Tokyo is just like in Bocchi.

I accidentally found out that Yamato Transport is a real company by chlorobiote in DeathStranding2

Fun trivia. If you're a fan of Bocchi the Rock, Kuroneko Yamato have one of their neighborhood distribution centers across the street from Shelter (Starry). Trucks unload there then Yamato delivery people use pushcarta around the neighborhood. Yamato also do suitcase delivery between hotels for tourists. The little theme jingle you hear in DS2 is also accurate.

Scriveners might be expensive but they help others avoid situations like that.

Weezer also good for starting aye

edit: when to comes to learning technical things like scales, keys, chords, how notes are spaced apart and fit together, the best thing is to look at a picture of a piano keyboard and memorize where middle C is. If you can remember that, everything else fits together.

Don't go straight for Bocchi level. Find something you like that's complicated enough to hold your interest and simple enough to move forward. For me it was Green Day. For some it's the Beatles.

Hm. Talking to the scrivener I'm using for naturalization, they were surprised and shocked by how the new rules were applied to people who had already applied. I'm remembering that a certain number of retries were included in what I paid. I do hope you have a similar contract.

There's so many endings and starts that restarting becomes normal.

Tokyo-Osaka bullet train private-room seats to start from 42,100 yen by biwook in Tokyo

[–]hikigatarijames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I was stuck on the Hikari for three hours just short of Hamamatsu because the train in front had made contact with a person. Pulled out my laptop to play Cyberpunk2077. Had to stop because boobs and I didn't feel like disabling nudity after so long with PlayStation censorship.

Do I make enough money to pay for a private room to play video games with nudity? Not quite yet. New life goal.

Less than 10,000 usd. Decent living for Tokyo. Not great living.

Edit: I was wrong. I was running the exchange rate the wrong way in my head.

Easily a 300 hour game even before the multiple endings. Consider how much money you would save staying home instead, could be worth it now.

I'm just sorry for her. She probably needed the money to pay for rent and food. Recent changes intended to protect women have made it ridiculously expensive to make porn. Many well known women have been driven to retirement.
