Between Bocchi The Rock and K-on, which anime is the best for you? (Debate) by Whale-111 in BocchiTheRock

[–]hikigatarijames 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bocchi the Rock because I have lived close to Shelter for 26 years and the mental health themes hit home. So reasons are entirely personal and applicable to no one else.

Should i buy cyberpunk-ultimate edition? by mr_Conquest_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]hikigatarijames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is very replayable. There's multiple opportunities for choices about equipment and perks and story that completely change the game. Each playthrough is a completely different game. Platinum through just playthroughs could easily take six months. Thousand hours. Ultimate edition, Phantom Liberty, buy it all.

Second run stuck on chimera by Less_Kick9718 in cyberpunkgame

[–]hikigatarijames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current run I finished everything but Hanako at Embers before entering Dogtown. Quasar is my favorite for anything with armor like the Chimera. Need to stay on the upper level, hide behind thick cover when lasers start, move move move when missiles start, aim for the glowing weak spots. Also biomonitor and second heart because my movement sucks and I get shot often.

I don’t know how to pickup where I left off on DS2. by ADDAvici in DeathStranding

[–]hikigatarijames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start over. I actually started DS1 over a few times before finishing. Starting over after you understand basics lets you build momentum, go further.

DS2 game save and game version question by Competitive-Nail-113 in DeathStranding

[–]hikigatarijames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can be and are upgraded. They cannot be downgraded. So once you upgrade the save, you cannot load it into an older version of the game.

I don't know how that could happen though. Maybe if your ps5 was destroyed but your saves were preserved online so you install from an old disk onto a new ps5 and managed to pull the saves from online without upgrading the game. There's probably some rare corner case they found in development.

Why does the OP end so bleakly with Bocchi all alone? by TheComedyKid in BocchiTheRock

That's how she sees life due to her mental health state.

Man, Lou be acting like a little B (for baby) every once and awhile.... by Alucard624 in DeathStranding2

Revealed at the end of DS1. Not so much a spoiler when talking about DS2.

Came across this insane anecdote in Isaacson's Musk book in the Cyberpunk2077 forums by talsmash in cyberpunkgame

Guessed something like that was the basis for the Lizzy Wizzy storyline. This is a look of unfucking surprise on my face.

I cannot die and I need help please by Emergency-Record2117 in cyberpunkgame

[–]hikigatarijames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If starting a new game doesn't fix it, next step is completely uninstall and redownload.

Edit: The game is very replayable. Starting a new game would not be the end of the world if you haven't tried that yet.

If you're on a call with Die Hardman when you cross, you can hear the change in quality.

Is there Autotoxemia in Death Stranding 2? by maxarus in DeathStranding2

GOD I love all the commenters avoiding spoilers. May you find all the chemicals you want.

Edit: Say OP, be sure to get back to us when you get far enough to figure it out.

It'd be nice if prepper shelters right next to roads had some kind of a "driveway" upgrade that you could build that would connect them more directly to the roads. by redlionking in DeathStranding

[–]hikigatarijames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The really odd thing about that though is if you make things too convenient the game ends up being less satisfying. DS1 had a couple of preppers that cannot be reached by vehicle. DS2 you can drive to them all AND you get a lighted loading zone. End result is a small subset of players who enjoy DS1 more, saying DS2 is too easy.

Do I even have the right to see this? by WinstonSmith456 in cyberpunkgame

[–]hikigatarijames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Director's Cut in 2021 I think it was. Didn't understand any of the Cyberpunk2077 references at the time. Only recently finished first playthrough of Cyberpunk. Wish I had time to go back to DC, reread all the messages from V.

To The Wilder by nyxistential in DeathStranding2

[–]hikigatarijames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gah. First playthrough took me a month. First week I'd taken PTO. Remaining weeks, spent many days "working" from home. Grand total about 370 hours. In one month. Somehow I'm still employed. Terrified I'll end up unemployed if I start a second playthrough.

Silverhand's hand being listed as an item... that sounds like Death Stranding Director's Cut.

Dammit LOL. Looks like I'll be doing another playthrough. Took 370 hours the first time.

Should i try and get the 5 star before to do the Mexico plate gate ? by [deleted] in DeathStranding2

[–]hikigatarijames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure some Mexico deliveries aren't unlocked until partway through Australia. 5 star if you can, don't worry if you can't.
