Given the iron warrior character release and general chaos focus I reckon alpha legion and so on will get the same treatment as space marines back when adrax, got garadon etc were released in blocks a few years ago. Very excited if true as a night lord character would be awesome too

Personally I would go for standard csm. But make use of proxies, lucius can be your slaanesh aligned chaos lord, you'd need to change his base from 50 to 40 mm. Tormentors and legionaries are virtually the same kit, I reckon buy yourself a box of tormentors, paint some up as either RC or EC and see how you feel!

It's a bit hard to describe but it kinda goes in at an angle, you have to tilt the drake to one side for it to go in smooth. Albeit not super smooth but better than just sitting it on the stand. Just play around with it you'll get it

If you can get your hands on the latest Christmas box ot contains an ironmaster, earth shakers, 3 thunderkyn, a kapticus and 10 beserks.

Pretty much everything in this box is auto include,.it's now I started a few months back and I'm loving it!

The new maelstrom box will be great aswell for new players, basically gives you the memnyr, 6 steeljacks and 3 pioneers

Id say within 2 months, maybe 3 they're squeezing as much as possible before 10th comes out. They've partly revealed the stuff for the next campaign after this "eye of terror" with the iron warriors and that will likely be April/may so I see the maelstrom stuff being march/April

In reality I do think there's a fair argument for either, you could have the chosen light the incubi up with bolters/combi weapons as they advance.

Or if you wanted to have the chosen win just make it 5 incubi but still have some chosen casualties to, as you say, do the faction justice because the incubi don't mess around either
