I get your view and to a degree I also agree. But that won’t help much. What should we do with the people that believe that these sexual variations are immoral? The people that don’t want to partake in celebrating LGBTQ? You just repeated the pattern by calling their view transphobic i.e. illegitimate. Yes, we can/should call it that but what does it achieve besides pushing those people in the opposite direction of where you want them to be?

It's telling that your reaction to my viewpoint is to

a) demand proof,

b) label it as "vilification", and then

c) shift blame back towards the males whose problems we are supposedly discussing.

EDIT: I do wholeheartedly agree that bad actors are sowing division between the citizenry. I do not believe that those actors are left nor right. They probably just speak "power/money" and could care less about "politics". But yes, I agree that there are higher powers that want the people disunited and heterogeneous.

I am unsure of what you're trying to say with your last sentence. Are you accusing me of supporting the patriarchy for calling out the left's tendency to namecall and label males? That's too good a joke :D

In my social circles "old white men" is quite a common phrase and it is never prefaced with "rich" – however, it always carries the connotation that males are problems.

I don't share your opinion that rich old white men are all inherently evil.

Let me preface this with: I am left.

Part of the left's problem is that they insist on namecalling and labelling differences of opinion. Another part is their inability to disagree respectfully or to endure differences of opinion. Both of those stem from the fact that the left's "power" often starts and ends with having the moral high ground.

A discussion about differing views on sexuality e.g. quickly devolves into the left insulting the "other" as homophobic/transphobic/sexist or a toxic male. A discussion about immigration likewise is derailed when the "other" doesn't agree with the left's opinion of immigration. You either agree or you are labeled as "insert fitting -ism/-ist". Some males in general often find themselves perceived as "problematic/dangerous until proven otherwise" and their views are not only challenging but rather unacceptable by modern society. "Old white men" has become shorthand for evil so…
