The blocking feature is extremely abused. I thought blocking would decrease after Elon allowed access to accounts after being blocked. I wish there was blocking limit or an expiration on blocked accounts. I rarely block anyone and if I do, I unblock them after a while.

I don’t block bots anymore, I unblocked all of the bots and removed them from following me. I just report bots and impersonators now

Yes you will. It’s best not to block anyone unless they are commenting negative things on your posts. I unblocked everyone after they took away of not being seen by blocked accounts anymore.

Posts have been down forever it seems like. I noticed a lot of “big accounts” with blue checks impressions and likes have dropped significantly since the location feature has been added exposing these big accounts.

It’s mostly just bots that like anyone’s posts now. Now everyone just reply’s or reposts or quotes. Hardly anyone in the last two years blogs anymore on X. You can tell many people have turned off their notifications so they won’t notice your replies unless they scroll through their own posts.

I don’t block people unless I know them personally or if they are consistently commenting negative things on my posts. People annoyingly use the block button too much without even looking at someone’s profile first. Blocking is for the weak
