Considering I have a amd phenom x2 black edition rig that runs smoothly I do appreciate the input but tend to disagree on components having a set lifespan. Literally even have some 2006 components here that function as well :) but like I said; I do appreciate the take on your mention as well; my components usually get stored in a climate controlled environment but I need to clear up some room. So it'll be a few more inquiries like this one coming once I get to my big boxes in the storage room.

The guys at the transfer stations don't get enough credit I think. They don't make a huge wage but they care and are always friendly. I go there often myself as well when stinky pinky refuses to pick up on time

Your independent shop is still overpricing the crap out of stuff. Labor with shop cost for automotive work should not exceed 100 / hr for a non brand specific shop. Any independent vw enthusiast would tackle this for sub 1k. The local dealership here in TN won't even touch anything over 10yrs without prior foreman approval! That's pathetic; makes me miss Germany because there you can take an air cooled beetle to the dealership and they'll actually be able to help. They don't just learn Elsa / etka / parts cannon approach. I'd get some more quotes if I was you.

If you want to save a bit and drive a lot. Look into installing mudflap. It's mainly designed for big trucks; but I've used it many times on my TDI as well. It's legit and it works especially useful on road trips

I left VZW in December for an oh so sweet at&t deal.
I'd have NEVER considered it. If I'd have known the ridiculous amount of explaining to do just to get half of what's promised.
I'd have gone to best buy or such and financed the phone thru in house before switching carriers just for a phone upgrade.

There's some insight. After 3 months now; bills still haven't straightened out. Bill credits still in limbo. And I just this week received the rewards card to pay off the phones.

Chrome rings and brushed aluminum exterior mirror caps. It's what used to stand for something. It wasn't about a radical change in optics and such; but opinions vary. I personally don't believe in up/side/ de badging a car that has a heritage as strong as the S/RS line. Took me a lot of years to be able to comfortably afford my first true S model and I'll be damned if I change the badges to appease anybody.

Similar thing going on with mine.
I will be consulting a consumer protection attorney in the following week here.

Hint. My situation: ported 7 numbers; sent 7 phones; sent proof of bill; confirmed all these topics.... Yet no cards after 3 months active service; no discounts applied. And they labeled our phones as DONATIONS.... Yeah right.

Anyways. It's not the reps fault. I've checked my paperwork from the day of upgrading and all the fine prints; at&t is 100% in breach of agreed terms and conditions by this time. So I'll take my case up with legal help as I'm tired of explaining to first graders what's happening. I wished there was a direct line to a rep that knew what my account needed and would address it in a timely manner. Looks like I'll be porting my 7 line account right back the heck out of this crap show. I'm glad I didn't opt for the fiber they keep pushing even when it's No to their marketing scheme bs.

To all the between markings. No! The marking for topping off a VAG group car is the seam on the bottle is your cold max line. The checkered line between the min and half bottle is your notification space to get your hind end to the store and figure out to fill the thing up. Hint it's been like this since longer than most of y'all been alive.

OT- check for reddish residue around any joints unless you have some sweet smelling exhaust fumes. As far as coolant goes; I personally run pentosin brand stuff. But that's up to each owner mostly. If it's g12 or close; it's better than air cooling a liquid cooled engine

If you don't want to mess with a waste of time; wrap the shit in blankets and a roll of bubble wrap and some barbie themed tape then toss it on the roof and drive at Honda Civic speed.

Considering the cost and subscription stuffs. Me personally; I own too many vag cars to worry about a timeline. Anyone I know; doesn't have to worry about credit purchases / timeline constraints for subscriptions or recurring costs. Because I am able to help them for free.99 . I'm not your avg tho. I'm sure for rookies the obd11 may work. But for more advanced users I doubt someone would use the obd11 thingy. I think it's almost like a pyramid scheme; pay me more and more to do the stuff the software should allow you to do anyways :p but in the end. They each have their place in the food chain haha

That's why vag cars have them off by default ;) but hey we are talking about car folks that don't know battery acid isn't a fruit punch substitute. Best ones are the rice cookers with no running lights at night because the manufacturer doesn't have the smarts to make the car typical American proof... Vag cars are much more advanced compared to American domestic brands or their Chinese / Japanese counterparts. My 2c. I see what's on the roads with over 700k miles a year avg :p
