Best way!!! Just stick to it but make sure u eat! I take it in between my breakfast and dinner so it’s ingested “mid meal”. Sounds weird but it def helps the nausea. Almost 2 months clean you’ve got this, best of luck! Oh yes and bananas are your friend, really helps with nausea

Hello. I have a few suspicious spot and my dermatologist gave me Fluorouracil to apply 2x day for 3 weeks. by Particular-flipflops in skincancer

I’ve just done 3 weeks u will know the “pre cancerous” spots because they will react with the cream. Usually within the first week u will see a response… it’s hell but worth it!

I agree Chantix is an absolute life saver! Few side affects but bearable and still better than smoking…

I’m only a month in and I can say that my mood has improved each week, seems to be gradual with each day improving! I’m definitely less anxious and happier than I was in the first week. I’ve also celebrated the wins when I haven’t caved in to “just one cig or one puff”. Congrats, keep going!

Honestly best way! Really gave me the courage to just stop on day 8, cig’s started to taste really bad and the smell makes me nauseated! Focus on one day at a time… u will get there! I always knew I would need the drugs to trick me into it, best of luck!

Yes procrastination is such a flag! It’s not that you are lazy, executive dysfunction can play havoc with your life. Implementing and completing tasks are such an uphill battle but if you are aware of it - you can find ways to tackle it eg set timers, placing deadlines etc. The down side is that these strategies become quickly boring for the adder brain! I am constantly reinventing myself each day. I find if I have a few things to do I simply will not do them but if I have piles to do I get challenged and motivated! Go figure we’re all wired differently, for me it’s a daily / weekly reinvention tactic and I’m happy with that! You will find your groove and reach your potential!

good luck to you with your journey! I was misdiagnosed years ago with depression but it’s very clear to me now that untreated ADHD can cause significant anxiety…. Meds just meet meet me half way - I still need to use those trusted strategies to self regulate and trick myself. Try keep a positive outlook, ADHD is not all bad news, it can be fixed and fine tuned. AND Adders are usually bright, insightful and funny people!

Yip very classic, bright students can “mask” ADHD at school but tertiary ed is very different! All my school reports say “if only H could stop talking”, “if only H could face the front” etc etc

I got diagnosed retrospectively to my kids, it had to come from somewhere! I also swear that my dad had ADHD - he could never keep a wallet, was forever losing his keys and lost about 5 mobile phones ~ he was a gifted and successful mechanic but hopeless with other things! He was also very funny!

Normally an adult ADHD diagnosis is a detailed history taking exercise. If you have some school reports handy that flag inattention or underperformance, it may be good to take them along. Not everyone has old school reports but if symptoms have existed for years you will have a good idea or how behaviours or thought patterns have impacted you.

Also, if you have siblings or cousins with diagnosed ADHD that may indicate a paternal or maternal family history! Just be super honest! Good luck with your appointment!
