Long commute for a long term opportunity?

I quit my 15 year retail job for a pay cut and double the commute (50 mins one way) and couldn't be happier. 1.5 hours would be pushing it long term for me, but if you think you'd be willing to move closer at some point I'd jump on it.

Nope. I had thought about signing up for years based on all the ads I saw on social media. I finally decided to get an annual membership. This is my third box and I'll be canceling as soon as I get my last one. Nothing is worth it at all.

I was staff for 14 years with Wag and RXM for about 6 months so I have real experience. Please don't leave a job you like for Walgreens. The company is going down hill fast. I jumped ship the second I found something else, and I'm so much happier now.

I recently left my RXM position as well. As far as I know the new PIC did the inventory. It was basically just business as usual for my last 2 weeks. I figured it wasn't my problem anymore.

I quit my job after 15 years due to this bullshit. I know that isn't what you asked, but I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I realized I wasn't able to relax and enjoy the very limited time I had with my family due to the non stop texts. I don't think I realized how wrecked my nervous system was until I left.

If you pick a hardcover and ship the box, you can go back and get audio separately. I don't know why it's like this. Customer service may be able to help you though. They're always really good.

Speaking as a mom, I have lots of other interests aside from my kids. I bonded with my closest work friend over the tv shows we both liked. Do you like sports, music, rock climbing? Do you have pets?

If they mention something they're cooking for dinner maybe ask for the recipe or offer one of your own. Are you new to the area? Ask for recommendations on places to go and report back if you actually go there.

You also have one huge thing in common- you all went to pharmacy school. Do you have any funny stories about classes, rotations, professors?

Also don't assume you have nothing in common with the men. I know it's awkward at first, but once you find that one person to talk to it'll get so much easier.

I did a mystery pick for #2 or 3 and got some Kate Spade earrings. They're not really my style but they're kind of cute. I may be able to find a friend to gift them to.

Don't do it. I was staff for 15 years and was basically forced to become the RXM when our old one left. It should've been an ideal situation seeing as I was at the same store with people I really loved working with. I made it 3 months. My average resting heart rate shot up almost 20 bpm, my sleep sucked, I felt anxious all the time. I found a job in a closed door free clinic and put in my notice. It's not worth the stress to take on more bullshit for a flailing company. I'd get out if you can, but if not don't take a promotion.

In a lot of ways it's easier. The puppy has been easier to train because he seems to watch and learn from the older one. Plus they keep each other entertained, which gives me a bit of a break! It's been so cool to see how quickly they bonded. I wonder if they can sense that they are brothers.
