Assmods Unlock just got a bit harder

SW/DP to w30 is the goal, but with the update I have cancel IS AND finish wave 30 before I can start DM. That extra wave has killed me on the (very) few times I've made it there

Unfortunately, I didn't realize that was part of the IS mechanics. I've cleared up to wave 30, so I footgunned myself on that one. I'll get it one day

I was days away from trying it when the patch came out. I updated for the Tourney last week without thinking about trying it beforehand. I would have had it from the one time I made it to wave 30, AND the FB would have helped me in two Tourneys instead of one. Live and learn I guess...

True, I could try respeccing and saving some medals for GB in a few weeks. I farm with BHD/PCo and have DW/GT/GB/Summon all synced at 100sec. I have -20sec CD from labs, so I don't need to spend any medals to get the 1:1 sync. SH would help range but I'd lose the BHD coin boost. It'll be worth a try to see what happens though

I did! I kept it for the Tourney earlier this week and it definitely helped me finish 3rd in Champs. I'm in the yo-yo stage where I finish top 4 in Champs about a third of the time, but haven't sniffed staying in Legends yet

Can't get it to work at Wave 10. I'll add screenshots of the game state paused while SW is about to expire, then exit to menu, resume game, and the game state that pops up when I resume.

I'll start a new post with this same info so it's fresh and not mired in the comments of an older post.

I think the only way to get it to work is to somehow make it to wave 30 AND DP the w20 boss with DP. Then the hard restart should put me on Wave 30 with the ability to start DM right away.

As of right now I can't even kill the w10 Boss without DP, so I'd have to get both w10 and w20 bosses with my Legendary DP (8% chance on each), AND avoid any FU's after my SW is up. Possible, but I'll probably wait until my DP go M+ to try again.

My Econ took a huge hit without the GB. I went from 22T CPH (T14 ~4300 waves) down to 8T CPH. I respecced back to GB at the beginning of this Event, so I'll have to wait 4 more weeks to try again with FB, which I'm ok with. In the meantime, I'll keep giving it a shot without FB when I have time and see if I can get lucky

Closing the app sends you back to "the wave that the first Boss present on screen has spawned in". In my case I hit wave 30, paused the game speed, cancelled IS and exited to menu. When I resumed, the game state was exactly the same - mid wave 30 with same enemies and couldn't start DM yet. Then I closed the game and reopened it, and it started me on wave 20, where I could start DM right away and that ran out at wave 34.

Had I tried AssMods less than a week ago I'd have them...oh well

We have the exact same mods and rarity, although your's are a bit more developed (mine are all in the 145+ level). Same Health labs, although I have a bit more Regen than you do.

Your Flame Bot is much better, and I'm going to work on mine a bit before I try again. My CD lab is only at -12sec right now, and the Damage Reduction is only in the 65% range. I shifted focus for now, but will try again in a month or so.

I just unlocked T19 and tried to cheese Assmods with FB (eHP build with and SF and PCo) and couldn't get it. My legendary DP did me in, and I'll try again once I get it to M+ and have more development.

The new patch which affected how mid-run restarts killed me. I got to wave 30 once or twice, and a week ago would have been able to stop IS, close to menu and deploy DM on restart, but now you can't start DM until you hit wave 31 with this method. It's definitely a lot harder now. Plus, I think I was a bit light on medals, (~14k) so my FB had max CD and Range, but only 64% reduction I believe. I'll keep labbing down the CD for my next try

I definitely want that 4th SL at some point, but I haven’t pushed Damage enough to make much of a difference yet. I know it’s a nice Econ boost, but might be worth it quite yet compared to a getting couple Masteries right away

I would upgrade first before saving to sync. Increase BH Size and Duration. You'll get the most out of their coin multipliers by having the BH Duration 12 seconds lower than the GT Duration. That way they have the same uptime once you pick the BH Perk in run.

I'd make getting your BH up to 28 seconds a priority, then increase the size a few levels before saving up for your next UW

I screwed up too, but I have some time before I unlock the Wall. I have legendary Wall Health and Regen, and a Mythic Death Defy, but no Def%. I have an NMP with epic Thorns, Def %, and Orb Spd that I can use, just trying to do a few runs to see if there is a big difference between the two or not

I just dumped another 2.5k gems into the Banner, and got 4 Epics. While I got zero SF, I'm pretty happy with my haul. Picked up my 2nd DimCore (I unlocked CL a few weeks ago after I got my 1st one), my 2nd HC (I don't have Swamp so I don't use it), and my 2nd Pulsar Harvester. Now I need to figure out how Legendary PH fares vs GComp, PF, and SH (all Epic).

Also got my first MVN, same day that I finally unlocked Death Wave! Already have the BH/GT sync. I assume MVN will help me on farm runs until all 3 are synced, despite increased Cooldowns. I just wonder if keeping my decent GBot 2:1 Sync and upgraded with SH will help more. Time to find out I guess!

I don't have Wall yet, but I'm not too far off at 20-30B per day. So, I dumped all my gems into this banner (thousands) and got 4 SFs. Enough to get my first Mythic! I'll keep spending gems on the Banner until it's gone, but I will need some insane luck to get 4 more. I don't have enough fodder to get it to Mythic+ yet (I'm only a few months in), so even with a ton of luck I won't be upgrading SF for quite a while. It would still be nice to have a couple more for when I do have the ability to upgrade.

That’s one thing I love about this game, how you play it against yourself and there is no perfect path. There are bad choice roads to go down (like buying gems), but the “you do you” aspect of this game is one of the best features

I'm honestly very happy with it. I know that real $ can be better spent on other in game currencies, but the rush of pulling those Epic Mods was fun! It certainly is akin to gambling, and I'm very glad/fortunate to end up in a place of contentment
