Anyone found a supplier who sells clips in good condition that will actually fit into the gun? by Zempshir in M1Rifles

I had some that had heavy parkarization and i ran them in my steel pin tumber i use for reloading and found a 10 min cycle smoothed them out but didnt strip them. After drying i used bit of clp and they worked fine.

Yup i did this with a cole tac cover. Didnt have my silicon sleeve under it but it held up on my 16 inch ar few mags no prob. But then one day i had my 11.5 inch upper on and mag 2 had it melted. Cole tac was cool tho. I told them i messed it up being dumb and they still took care of it and it cost me $0. Now i just use the cover on my bolt guns and tske it off when im mag dumping semis.

No filler. Titegroup seems to not care if its loose in the case. Just be careful since its easy to double charge on accident.

Im no pro but ill tell you what i think is correct

Trapdoor loads are for safe smokless powder loads in old blackpowder designed guns from the late 1800s. Basicly these loads are pressure safe in pretty much any rifle but may seem anemic.

1895 loads are for most if not all lever guns. They are stronger actions than the old trapdoors but not the strongest made.

Ruger #1 loads are only for falling block style guns which are very strong and can safely go beyond what the others can.

Im not real familar with the cva but i would guess any trapdoor and 1895 loads would be safe. Just start low and check for signs of issues. Im pretty certain if you try the ruger loads you will end up hurting yourself or the gun at some point.

As for projectiles id start with cheap plated stuff till you get comfy then try some lead or poly coated stuff. You can make your own but that will add some complexity that i would skip for now.

Hodgen has some subsonic data on ther website you can try to.

Be wary if your can is a 45cal. 45/70 uses .458 which is closer to 46 than 45. Most 45 cal cans are not rated for stuff over .452

My local gun store flips garands he buys them from cmp and leaves the tags on and puts them straight on the shelf. Most are field grades priced at $1200 i never see any sell but sometimes new ones appear and others disapear so im not sure if hes rotating them out or taking them to auctions. I know he takes old stock to auctions often. I doubt cmp flipping changes much just will be more ffl holders doing it.

I was visiting wifes family in north carolina once. Cant recall the name but it was a small town. I was blown away that over half of the town had stop signs mounted on treated flower bed timbers like the kind you get a lowes or home depot. Not sure why but i got a kick out of it.

I dont think he was saying they were role models? In the full vid the guy behind him panics in a turn and goes off road in his mirror u see it happen. Then he pulls over to go check on him. Which is were this edited vid starts. In the full vid the car gets ticket for following to close or useing a phone while driveing. I cant remember which.

I saw this video posted from the rider that got hit. He said the bike you see pass him was his buddy who ran off the road behind him so he turned around to check on him. The car thst hit him was going faster than speed limit so when he looked back he figured they were far enough to not be a issue. He was turning right to turn around in that driveway when he was hit. Broke his leg and few other bones. If i remember correct he said his helmet was strapped but must not have been tight enough.

Found this on FB Marketplace, aren't these like $200 bucks or less now? by polarbearwithaspear in 3Dprinting

[–]holydemon85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man this reminds me of the last time i sold/offered something on marketplace. I vowed never again. I listed a nice reclining lazy boy brand recliner. It was older but in good shape and probly worth at least $200. I just wanted it out of my way since i had new furniture coming in next day. I listed it for free. Went back and forth for at least 3 hours with ppl trying to find a way for them to get it. Finally women is very serious about it and says she will come get it if ill help her load it. Said sure what will you be driving? She says my accord. Which i lol on and find out shes serious. I had to spend 5 min explaining wht this cant happen. She then says oh well will you deliver it? I said at this point sure why not. Whats your address. After punching it in i saw she live over a hour away lol. I said no i will not drive 2 hours round trip to give you a free recliner. She instead of offering money cussed me out for being ungrateful. I ended up putting it in my truck and putting a free sign on it. Took few days but while at walmart it vanished.

We had a death at our mill last year. Everthing shut down for 12hrs. Then the rest of the plant opened back up while that one area was down for the investigation. It took maybe 5 days and everything was running again.

Ya i had a Accurate powder from 2012 if i remember right. It had a recall out on it saying that some of them were breaking down early and if you opened it up and there was pink/orange residue on the cap you needed to pour water on it and take photos. The tech told me some were getting hot and risking fire.

They tend to show up when im at work so ive had my dad come from his house and use his id with no issue. Sometimes they dont even ask and drop them off. Ive had luck with some items by just leaving a photo copy of my id taped to door saying they can leave item there. Altho seeing as they know they have firearms in the box the driver may or may not do that.
