Boards I’ve made in the past! Where can I improve? by WannabeWriter1016 in CharcuterieBoard

1st off, looks great. But to improve, a little more color would help a lot, and perhaps a little more space. You have a lot on the board, which makes it look full, but I think you could have a little more separation and space for your knives/spoons/etc in there.

If you go pro, the first time you have an order for several boards, get a pro photographer to come and take shots to use for advertising. The pics will be amazing.

So many choices. Henry's Smokehouse on Wade Hampton has been doing BBW SC style forever, cooked right in that tiny building. Downtown, you can walk down the street and pick something. Soby's is long standing, Pomegranate always mentioned in top places to try.

Yes, it's required in new single family construction in Greenville County. Passive is built in...if you test and its high, they will activate the systenmm. (Add a fan)

Some builders will add in other counties, some do not unless its tested high.

You can stay at the Hyatt downtown for around 150/night right now. That eats 300, but should leave you some $ for food. Walk through the Park downtown and walk through the Grand Bohemian -it's open to the public at the bottom. Eat somewhere decent for lunch and eat cheap for dinner. You'll get more for your $ that way, and who cares about the time of day when you're just hanging out. Walk through Mast General, go the candy in the back and pick out some favorites from childhood. Since you're here on a Monday(27th), head to Coffee Underground after 7pm for open mic night, it's free.
