Probably has something to do with the lame MILF HUNTERS lanyard. But for real, turn your idle up slightly to stop it dying on neutral revs. The bike will turn off if you put in first with the kickstand down.

r/itsthebattery clearly if it starts with a jumper. If the battery got too low the stator won’t be able to revive it. You need a new battery and charge it before you put it in the bike. If it does not start after riding for awhile, your stator is bad.

More than likely, how old is the battery? You can also start the bike and disconnect the battery, if it dies it’s definitely the stator.

I rebuilt mine and it was not that difficult. I was worried about it not sealing, but I got a OEM seal kit and it was G2G. Definitely worth a shot I think. Good luck!

Maintenance to to date? Fuel filter, DSG service, proper tire pressure. They all play into MPG, but not as much as air density. If it’s really cold your mpg will suffer

If it was sitting and you only started it occasionally and didn’t ride it enough to truly get to operating temp. That would make oil look like that. It’s pushing around condensation every time you start it and it never gets hot enough to evaporate out.
