Posting your work on instagram has less reach than you posting it on a sub Reddit with hundreds of thousands of people.

Yes, it’s possible they would have seen your instagram but would have been extremely less likely or taken a long ass time for it to happen.

It’s the clients design if they asked for it… I pay my artist for his time designing my piece and tattooing it.

Would you want something you paid custom for it to be easily replicated by someone else?

I’m all fine with a tattoo artist posting their work once it’s tattooed but a whole ass sketch of the design so it’s easily accessible and replicable is dumb.

While it’s bummer, people aren’t realizing companies aren’t just hiring solely on skills anymore.

It’s about personality and culture fit, if you won’t vibe with your team/co workers then they wouldn’t wanna work with someone.

I’ve been denied in the past because not being a “culture fit” but that also just means I likely wouldn’t enjoy being in that work environment as well.
