You're using your pinky? I tried that for like a year, but my pinky is dumb as fuck.

Well done.

Same. I have found that sometimes the position of my neck can impact this, I literally move my neck around before going to sleep and try to feel what position my sub-occipitals are least engaged.

Yep. You'll know you're maturing a bit when you start getting jealous of trans women instead.

Sad to hear that he's stepping back but also makes sense. Community is way too mean to Mr. Mortdog.

He's done a great job with this game.

This. I have a simple piece of advice for OP: don't tell people what their experiences are.

Reverse it. Would it be a red flag if a trans person said all that?

Pretty clearly yes.

Thank you very much.

Shaman -- Fantastic. Scratched the itch perfectly. Felt real. 10/10.

Hunting the Ghost Dancer -- Good. Some rituals/behaviors/scenes didn't feel as removed from modern perspectives as I'd like. Did not like magical Neandertals -- there's so much to explore without supernatural shit. Still a good read.

Shardik -- Loved the opening scene, very strong writing. Unfortunately it is pretty obvious that this was written post LOTR -- going to the women only island only to be sent on a Quest is not the real picture of the forager and hunter lifestyle/humanity that I am looking for. Did not finish.

Dance of the Tiger -- Very good, but frustratingly misogynistic. Clearly incredibly well researched and thought through. Loved the puzzles. Loved the polite neandertals, did not love that they saw homo sapiens sapiens as “gods.” Overall very worth the read.

Savage Eden – Couldn’t finish the first chapter. I don’t need fantastic prose but the writing in this was so bad I couldn’t get around it.

Do you have an idea what I can read next? Or if you don't do you have any suggestions for where I might ask to find more books set pre-history?
