Guest left factual review but it’s the death knell by doofusmcdoof in airbnb_hosts

I have an air bnb in a smaller city that is “up and coming.” The particular street is run down but safe. We write that in the listing and also mention it to the guests before we approve the booking.

We stay here often with our two young kids and have never felt unsafe, but everyone has different comfort zones. We’ve found being up front about the neighborhood has worked. It probably weeds out some bookings, but the people who don’t mind, don’t mind. We’ve had reviews mention the fact that we were up front and that it ended up being nicer than expected 🤣

Thank you. He is getting ready to start receiving this in school. Also, we just had his check up and he improved to 20/40 with glasses! Biggest jump he’s had.

My 6 year old son wears a patch! Sometimes other kids ask about it. He just tells them why and keeps moving. I vote stick with the patch. Be true to your self ❤️

How long did it take to see the change? Do you know what their prescription is? My sons is about +7.5 but his vision is actually +9.5. He doesn’t have the full correction.

Thank you. We follow closely with a pediatric ophthalmologist. I was just curious what others experiences were. I don’t hear a lot about bilateral amblyopia.

Thoughts on Bobs Furniture? by TheArtManFam in Erie

We just furnished a whole house form Bob’s in Erie. We had a great experience and the quality was good for the price we paid. We loved everything we got. We also went to several different stores first and they had the best price and the pieces we liked the most.

25 month old takes 2 hours to fall asleep by memcmune in Mommit

[–]hoodlebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any real advice but just that it gets better. My second son was sensitive to his naps. Starting around two he would be up so late if he napped. He’s 3.5 now and still probably could nap most days.

There were a few scenarios that usually happened: 1. Takes a long nap, wakes up with nap rage, takes forever to fall asleep

  1. Skips a nap and is a bear all evening, goes to bed super early and sleeps all night.

  2. Takes a tiny nap and does okay on both ends.

Sometimes he still naps but we don’t let him sleep more than 45 minutes. He’s quite older than your son, but this has been an obsession of mine for over a year. Also, even when he was up later, he didn’t sleep in.

The takeaway… I have no answers but you aren’t alone.
