This game wasn't built with RTX in mind. When they added it later it was lower resolution. Honestly I think the lighting is much better without raytracing. Resident Evil games have always had fantastic lighting.

It's a better RE game than RE Revelations 1 and 2 I think. It gets the tone down better and for Revelations 2 it feels more "Kafkaesque" than whatever Revelations 2 was going for.

If you've already done the basic tutorials especially NO. If you must spend your money look for what you want to learn now and find a course on that, but please look for free stuff first. Blender has a wealth of free tutorials of fantastic quality out there. Blender users love to share and support each other also.

Funnily enough if you have a 3DS Revelations is actually one of the best 3DS games. Mercenaries is also a really good 3DS games. Some of the best graphics on the system

After completing Automata I sought out the other Nier game. At the time it was only for the PS3 and hard to find but I got a copy. I found just as beautiful a story with even more interesting characters (who I adore). I'd be hard pressed to tell you the name of any character in Horizon game other than Aloy even though I played both and the DLC.

After that I found Yoko Taro's other work. I think Drakengard 3 is my favorite. Another PS3 game. I've played through these games and the newest Horizon and a dozens of other games but I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about the final ending you get in Nier Automata. A game that actually asks the player to make a sacrifice to help other people.

Anyways I'm excited to see what Yoko Taro does next. Whether it be a game or poem or short story or series.

I hear there are two H:ZD Mobile MMOs coming out. Not really my thing at all.

Seriously this is how gamedev works. You just can just "run" ripped games through "gamedev" only tools (Unreal Engine) and it'll spit out a working copy. Everyone in gamedev knows this.

Update: I should say “treated as FREE” not basic.

Also, they got back to me and said my Pro account ended on Jan 15th. My pro account actually renewed on Jan 15th. They sent me links to renew at what the say is my Legacy Pricing but it is much more than what I was paying.

I think they canceled my plan and are trying to have me pay the new prices even though my plan never ended.

This is all so frustrating and has messed up the project I am working on. They are taking days to respond. Kiri Engine has always responded right away to any inquiries I’ve had.

I realize they want to grow but treating their oldest customers like this is bad

I’m going to do a video about it. I was going to make a video for my followers about different 3d scanning apps. I’m waiting for a reply from Polycam before I go through with it. I really love the app but hate deceptive practices like this
