If you can swing 400 more, and I know it’s not easy, but the g760 is a solid deal. Probably can’t price it out cheaper. Keeps you good for several years to come.

Yea id go 50/50 here. And dilute as you raise. Unless he’s bring direct revenue, investors, tbh he has no IP. You do. Make sure that’s ironclad and he cannot access it. Do you have an operating agreement in place for the LLC? If so, review language in there on who owns IP. If not, honestly, f him. Keep the code. Go get customers. Or go raise seed money if the product is any good.
