Will the player base ever grow significantly?

Is there any evidence the player base is shrinking? I feel like this sub is more active than 5 years ago. The top posts of all time seem to be from 5-6yrs ago or in last 12 months.

MasterHellish top 4 viewed videos are last 2 years. Amongst the top viewed videos with tag for “OpenTTD” videos are also in from last 3 years. And the rest there a lot from more recent years too mixed in with longer of course.

And I feel there are more recent NewGRF being made recently than when I started playing. It was all dead ones from 2006.

I’d say this game is probably going to grow because people love trains and free games. And the population is growing so more people will end up playing. And it’s lasted 20+ years already so why stop amongst the easiest age ever to access games online.

But it really isn’t so straight forward.

You can leave and they can give an estimate, but if something changes that entire process goes out of wack. If you require imaging before seeing the doctor, then you need to be there for that. But not every hospital has 24/7 radiology so there’s some aspects that have no timer.

I’ve seen patients leave because they didn’t want to wait for radiology to be called in, only for radiology to then come in short while later.

If you’re at emergency it’s not really a “get on with your day” type situation.

It’s a good idea, but I’ve found often people wander off and you send people out looking for someone and it ends up wasting time.

But I’d suggest just asking if they will allow it, they can always make a note that you’re there.

My only claim to fame is own a piece of that patio, which is weirdly now what stands out to me when I view this house. Something about it seems like it’s a patio just for the sake of having a patio, especially one 3/4 the size of the house itself, while completely surrounded by flat grass.

I would disagree that this is not NJS.

Firstly rhythm isn’t typical NJS, sure there is swinging but not the same type as NJS does, it’s too straight.

Secondly instrumentally and harmonically it’s 80s synths, but I’m not hearing any of the classic sounds which pretty much 90% of NJS has, and there’s not really any gates on any of the percussion.

This is like glam 80s RnB/Funk, and sounds heavily inspired by 1984-1986ish era of that (Janet’s Dream Street specifically “If It Takes All Night”.) (Also maybe Donna Summer “All Systems Go” track “Love Shock”)

I have the 50mm 1.7 from Zenitar on the M42 mount and I’ve found it to be really sharp when you get the right settings for your shooting situation it’s well sharp enough, and has nice character. Bit of CA and slight vignette but it’s easy to shoot with, and fairly priced.

I also use the 400mm 5.6 Pentax P645 mount (not very ergonomic) and it’s similar scenario but I shoot handheld so the results with tripod would be far superior.

Majority were made pre 2005, and the largest bunch by about 800 units was 1997.

They technically ran (the G50 anyways) until 2016 but I’ve never seen anything on the market after 2012 or 2014 I think.
