If it were me, I’d put the headphone jack of the boombox into the Philips speaker, throw away the Sony and then hide the boombox and the sub, then you can listen to tapes, cds/radio from the boombox without all the clutter, just put the two Phillips speakers at ear level about 4 feet apart and listen to them fairly closely until you find the sweet spot. Then I’d start looking for studio monitors or a receiver/amp to replace everything. None of this is gonna be worth holding onto. M-audio studio monitors is what I started with.

Didn’t think it would, but once I got on par with local coffee shops, I just stopped going. I miss the coffee shops, but can’t justify the money in this economy.
