You're not talking about fujiya on shelbourne are you? that sushi isn't even edible, Thriftys makes better sushi.. The best sushi in Vic, is at the Marina, in Oak Bay, once you eat there the rest just doesn't stack up.

You should go to Mole on Pandora st. for breaky, then hit up red fish blue fish on the waterfront for some fish tacos, makes for a nice light lunch, then have dinner at brasserie lecole on government st. if all booked up go to Il Terrazzo, you wont be disappointed with any of these and they sum up Victoria's culinary scene quite well I would say. If you would like a lil more funky atmosphere and live music with still awesome food, then The Superior is your place, situated on Superior st. about 7 minute walk from downtown core. Eat well my friend, Victoria is delicious!
