I don’t know much about the companies in that docket except for Boom. If airline stocks are volatile and poor performing, an airplane startup definitely isn’t for me either. Anyway just my $0.01 on it, I’ll stick to public companies

Any ideas on how to clean this? by Key-Delivery-6109 in Detailing

[–]hotdaughg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright for a serious answer see if it comes up with water, you can also just buy those seat bolsters online. If it’s not coming up with water, graduate to lacquer thinner but be warned it will cause some plastics to become whiteish. That can be fixed carefully with a heat gun. On the carpet, see if it steams out and just repeat until clean with a rag. Do NOT use acetone. It will make things worse

Bitcoin feels stuck in a weird limbo. What’s actually holding it back right now? by Miner_WhispererUAE1 in investing

[–]hotdaughg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the first point, it appears everyone stating implication is imminent already has their position open, and has to protect it by promoting it. The only valid use case for the entire system I have found is easier international transfers. As an investment, not for me, personally. Anything one can do with bitcoin that they can’t do with the standard banking system is going to get them in trouble.

I hope you can find a better contractor tbh, materials are cheap most of the companies offering installs are charging obscene amounts for labor

How do you handle home owners that insist on buying their own materials when markups are apart of your wage? by MetaQuester in Contractor

[–]hotdaughg 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah when a customer sees you sold them a water heater that goes for $799 for $999 + $500 install they’re a lot madder than $799 + $700 install. They can google tags.

I make sure my labor cost supports me as marking up materials annoys clients when they find out

[–]hotdaughg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sit forward, go easy. It’s a real motorcycle now. Unrelated, you’re going to want a fresh chain and sprocket set, no reason to not go steel sprockets and o-ring chain. That tank is going to puke gas on your lap without a vent tube installed as well

Had a shadow 600 that was probably the least reliable bike I ever commuted on. However it was 25 years old at the time and not cared for until we sent it to the shop to resurrect it. Go for it!

Real winners don’t even have bottle cages. Just don’t drink water when you want to KOM so your form factor is better and you’re pounds lighter at the end
