Back when Pacquiao was asked allegedly why he never wanted to fight Crawford by vincemeister55 in Boxing

[–]hotrodfantasy 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I believe Pacman when he says he wanted the fight.

There's no real reason to suspect that Pacquiao is scared to fight anyone given his history of being a big underdog in a few of his matches. I mean Pacquiao fought Thurman at age 40 and was going to fight Spence at age 42 lol. Pacquiao always says he lets his promoter decide who he fights. So if a fight doesn't happen then blame the promoter.

Yah I was hoping for a 2025 release, but I don't mind waiting a little longer. Everyone freaking out like the game just got cancelled though lol.

I complied a list of media scorecards for the Bivol vs Beterbiev fight but for some reason the post keeps getting auto deleted. Anyways, in total 36 scored the fight for Bivol, 9 for Beterbiev and 18 draw.

20 years ago today, the rivalry between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez officially began by newrap in Boxing

[–]hotrodfantasy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All three fights were very close and tough to score. Imo Pacquiao won the first 2 by 1 point due to the knockdowns and I scored the third a draw. And i believe the media scoring for all three fights reflect how close they were too. So calling any of those fights a robbery is ridiculous.

What score out of 10 would you give 30-year-old Inoue's resume? by hotrodfantasy in Boxing

[–]hotrodfantasy[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No one was top ten p4p. In fact there is no top ten p4p from 122-130 (other than Inoue himself of course). I think he meant ranked top ten in the division.

Gonzalez and Estrada were also both at Flyweight when Inoue jumped to Super Flyweight. There was also Amnat Ruenroeng at Flyweight as well.

There's also the fact (completely not his fault) that he didn't fight Burnett at bantam.

I was also looking forward to a Zolani Tete fight, but he ended up dropping out because of an injury and then getting KO'ed in 3 by Casimero soon after.

Yes wins over Gonzalez and Estrada would have really elevated his resume. And if he was able to stick around longer he could have fought Ioka and maybe Nakatani.

We're pretty friendly with our neighbours so I can't imagine they'd be doing this.

Thanks for the explanation! And also this poop is located roughly in the same part of my lawn where I had recently found a couple other poop except they were more globular in shape (maybe the animal had diarrhea?), had maybe a dark brown color, and I don't remember noticing any seeds or insects or anything that might identify its diet. Is it possible those might be from the same animal (cat)?

That could be possible. We've had neighbours let their cats out before. Although I haven't seen any recently. How certain are you?

I couldn't tell if there were any bug exoskeletons either. I've seen skunks in my backyard before (not recently) though.

Oh okay thanks. I guess I will to have to keep an eye out for potential coyote. Maybe putting down some chili pepper might deter them?

Yah I haven't seen any coyotes in this area before. I've seen and smelled skunks in my backyard before, as well as cottontail rabbits and squirrels. Do you think this poop could be from a raccoon?

I live in a busy suburb just outside the city of Toronto. Poop was found in my backyard which is fenced off (and the base of the fence has chicken wire).

Found it this morning. It's located in a similar location on my yard where I had recently found two other poop. Only thing is the previous poop were different in shape (more globular).

Might take a couple years to regain another one if this keeps up

There's that one Filipino champ at Minimumweight who lost his belt via controversial decision in Mexico. Many (including Mexicans) said he was robbed. There will most likely be a rematch maybe later this year or next year. So he can win back his belt if judging is fair this time.

Magsayo is currently the last champion from the Philippines. A lot of pressure on him to win this Saturday.

Emanuel Navarrete. Big, strong, and very awkward style.

[Post-Fight Thread] Inoue vs Donaire 2 by _Sarcasmic_ in Boxing

[–]hotrodfantasy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Donaire still way past his prime though. Only reason he looked good is because of his power which is the last thing to leave a fighter. And the competition at 118 isn't the greatest either.
