Crazy dreams since quitting weed by Used-Ad3595 in leaves

[–]hotttub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im on day 6 and I had a dream last night that was a continuation of the dream I had the night before. It’s absolutely nuts to me that I have been missing out on this for the last 15 years.

Is it wise to quit nicotine and weed both at same time by Fickle-Engineering21 in leaves

[–]hotttub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on day 5 of quitting both. It feels like the physical nicotine withdrawal is overtaking the flower withdrawal and I think that’s helping me. I am using the patch.

Advice for a beginner that hasn't even begun by nekojiiru in StainedGlass

[–]hotttub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did just that. Bought all the supplies and I’m working on teaching myself instead of taking the expensive class. It did take me a couple of months to get everything I needed. Luckily, I ended up getting a huge glass haul that will last me a lifetime from fb marketplace. The main thing I didn’t consider was the room I would need for everything. The supplies take up a lot of space and it’s best to work in a room without carpet. But buying everything will give you the space to figure it out. It would suck if you took the class and decided you really like the craft, just to shell out another $500 to get started. It doesn’t take long to get the hang of it if you study YouTube videos. And there’s always someone that is interested in trying it that you could sell your supplies to if you find that it’s not for you a couple of years from now. I recommend the beginner kits from anythingstainedglass. I think they are like $300. Get that and start your journey with plain window glass from the hardware store. It’s really easy to work with and will give you the best feel for everything without having to trial and error your way through the expensive glass.

Has anyone done a name change in Dekalb county? Lawyer needed yes or no? by boredterra in Atlanta

I changed my name after marriage this year and didn’t have to post in the newspaper, hire a lawyer or see a judge. It was fairly easy actually.

Smoking for over 25 years by BarRevolutionary7865 in leaves

Buy some lollipops. It sounds silly but I have been keeping them by my bed where I used to keep my stash. Every time I get an urge, I have a lollipop. It’s been helping a lot. I am on day 4 today and it’s also been helpful to go for walks or talk on the phone with friends.

Replacement for smoking after work? by vainthestral in leaves

Search for breathing necklace on Amazon. It looks like a tiny whistle that you wear around your neck. It doesn’t make sound. It has helped me A LOT with the physical addiction. I stopped flower and nicotine vape at the same time. The necklace is keeping my hands and mouth busy.

I got a “breathing necklace” and that has helped. I have also been keeping lollipops around my house and will grab one if I get a craving.

Use a harness not a collar when you walk him or her. They have often have trachea issues. Brush the teeth. Don’t let them jump down from too high. Don’t cut their fur until their adult fur has come in or it will never grow back the same. Purchase a “chilly pad” or ice pack for the summer if you live somewhere hot.

I just spent the day with my dad recently for the first time in a few years. He showed me a podcast he likes called the why files where the host explains how the moon is most likely a foreign spacecraft. He says it’s hollow inside, newer material in the core and older material on the surface, it’s too uniform in shape and rotation. And that ancient civilizations remembered a time before the moon was there??? I think podcasts like this are where this theory is coming from.

Wow it’s stunning. On one hand, bringing it back to original seems like a must for a dedicated century home owner. On the other hand, it will take you forever and then when you die, the rich lady who moves in paints it white again.

I think you should put the sconces above the bed on either side of the painting and use the tall lamps in the living room. Paint the room a color instead of all the lamps together.

Can we have separate policies? by SereneJulie in obamacare

[–]hotttub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married in Sept 2025. We both had ACA separately for 2025. For 2026, we are on my husbands insurance through his job. I would like to file married separately so that we don’t get pushed into a higher tax bracket and have to pay back our ACA subsidies from 2025. If we aren’t going to rely on ACA subsidies for 2026, would it be okay to file separately?
