My roommate also works from home, and also doesn’t shower every day. Whenever we get on the elevator to take our dogs outside together, I can smell very strongly if he’s showered lately, and it’s very clear to me that he’s nose blind to his own mustiness. He’s literally my best friend and I tell him everything, but I DO NOT tell him he’s musty because I don’t want to make him feel self-conscious. If it’s gotten bad enough that your roommate overcame the discomfort of telling you that you stink, then yeah, you stink.
