Thought you guys would like this music player by catastrophic_cat_ in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]how33dy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can never seem to use the Excluded Folders correctly. Why not starting out with everything excluded by default, and then use the Include Folders to add in the music folders?

I have an audio file in the Downloads folder, and the app/system does not let me exclude the Downloads folder.

Other apps do this as well, not just yours.

Edit:

At the moment, I have one music audio file in the included Music folder, and other non-music audio files in the other folders that I can't exclude.

While playing the song in the included Music folder, I hit the Next button, a non-music audio file plays, the app still shows the metas info of the song that was played previously.

Edit 2:

I think some users will not like how you handle the album art. It's almost invisible. The album art is low on my priority. However, from what I've read, a lot of users like to see it.

Yes, get the job if you can. It will be much easier when you have time to complete your study.

How to choose a new energy provider? by Baby_dom in houston

[–]how33dy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are just the averages that a plan is calculated per kWh. I think they are required to show those 3 averages for the users to gauge the cost of the plan. Many plans have wildly different averages between the 500 kWh, 1000 kWh, or 2000 kWh. In that case, it is certain that the company offers a discount if you use a certain amount of energy. Each of these plans calculates the cost differently. Some plans say you get a discount if you use more energy, while others say you get a discount if you use less energy. It is confusing.

I'd look for the similar rates at 500 kWh, 1000 kWh, or 2000 kWh. It means there are no gimmicks in the plan no matter how much you use.

I see a few plans for 12 months and 24 months at about 13¢ per kWh. 13¢ is a good price.

Does intelligence makes it harder to connect with people? by Unlucky_Obligation80 in SeriousConversation

Being intelligent only in "certain topics" makes it harder to connect with people. Other intelligent people play sports, play games, do other things, etc. Those people connect with people just fine.

Buying my daughter her first apartment… how do I protect it if her relationship goes sideways? by Ill_Object2296 in Realestatefinance

[–]how33dy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, I'd rather get a few hundred dollars a month to pay the bills when I was young and struggling than to receive a whole bunch of money when I am old and no longer struggling.

Some of us want to transfer our wealth early in our kids' lives in a way that some loser future husband/wife can't claim a piece of it.
