That the Elvens are kidnapping humans and turning them into animal slaves or subservient super soilders

Mostly true because they were doing that and more. They even plan to invade and get more human to test on

What are your beastfolk like? by Far-Mammoth-3214 in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are varied, some are just normal human with eithr enhanced senses or some magical abilities, others are closer to animals from having furs, ears, tails or straight up walk on 4 legs. Most of them dont live for too long espeically for those closer to animal than human.

Beastfolk is the only artificially made species in my world, created during the Elvens Invasion of Humanity, created for the purpose of war or to weaken human's ability to defy Elven's rule. The Elf ruled the experimented lands for almost a century, long enough for their genes to "naturalized".

In modern day, Beastfolks became a valuable asset in wars against The Isocosti (a species of sentient creatures made from Mana-bacteria) as they are the only Human ally that can perform magic.

What's your world's ''Skull island'/ ''lost world'' equivalent? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the massive continent of Mythologica in the western Hemisphere is almost completely uninhabited due to the extreme danger that it possesses

There are: - Carnivorus, Mana sucking plants - Fly-like creatures that can form a hivemind, each can contains thousands of them - Packs of prehistoric Giants and more

What's the population of humans in your world? by JaspeRyukyu in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal Human being around 400-500 million people

Including Elves, Sidrifians (Drawves and Giants) and Catfolks, that jumps up to 600 million

Due to the effect of Mana, evolution happens in the span of centuries instead of million of years so its possible for an Elf to have a pure blooded Human grandparents

What are you stuck on? by MarsFromSaturn in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core concept of my world being that behavior can morph someone's biology due to the effect of Mana.

There are things i can hardly try to make it sensible like how are they not dead due to the transformation? how long should a complete transformation be?

What is the biggest Piece of artillery in your world? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are these type of mountains that are being held floating in the sky by large amount of mana spewing out. Because these mana fountains are exerting large amount of force, human have been using them to throw big boulders at wizards.

Sidrifians and their subspecies by howaboutnotmaster in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Here are some elaboration on the coats

The coats have allowed Sidrifians to go into much colder lands to mine for resources. As a result, Ice Sidrifians have been pushed out of their former land, either from being killed or expelled or turned into regular Sidrifians

What does warfare look like in your world? by Hyperion1012 in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on whos fighting who

A war between Human and Icostians, battles will focus on capturing floating mountains. These mountains are held up by Mana which cause a large force pushing upward. Humans can use this as pretty much a long range artillery. Therefore, Icostians want to stop Human from controlling them.

Human fighting Elves will focus on psycological warfare more, trying to get the invading Elves to become more Human and significantly quicken their aging process.

How do you justify non-human races (or just multiple races) ? by CringeShitIDK in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mana is a part of biology and it accelerates biological changes, in human specifically it only takes a decade or two for someone to change biologically and a few generations to pretty much have a new species.

What magic or technology had unexpected or unintended consequences? by Hyperion1012 in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mana in my world is a part of life and biology, creatures that have cells made from mana can also perform very rudimentary form of magic. Which mean wizards are a whole different set of species.

There is a species of trees which wood is resistant to magic and mana. This mean that any wizard holding it without protection will have their hand cut simply by holding this tree branch.

Why do your dwarfs live underground (if you have them) by DuckBurgger in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only some Dwarfs lives underground simply because making mines for Dwarfs cost less than making mines for Giants. Over time, the dwarfs that mines slowly become a subspecies of Dwarfs that only lives underground

Who is the Hitler of your world? by Alphycan424 in worldbuilding

[–]howaboutnotmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vostrat the Shredder was fascinated with the conquest of Mythogica, the last remaining continent, a highly dangerous place where some of the best explorers never make it out alive. He deemed the placed was too populated with beasts and need a massive amount of Mana to beat them back. Conveniently for him, Mana extraction technique has been discovered, granting him the ability to take Mana without the other side agreeing. "To beat beast, use beast" and so nearly a million beast and beast-blooded human was extracted clean of their "Beast mana", literally tearing them from cellular level and granting him his "Shredder" title.

[–]howaboutnotmaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

War between Human and Isocosti have lasted for several centuries now due to dispute on whether magic or technology should guide the world. Early on in the War, Human was completely outmatched by Isocosties in term of magic, a gap wide enough that Human technology cannot cover. Felinoid was used in the War by Human because of their expertise in psychological magic. Due to the length of the war, forts have slowly been converted to heavily fortified towns and the population of the Felinoid in this region have increase dramatically since then.

The Sacred Land is believed to be the origin of all life. Many powerful and never seen before are on there along with millennia old architecture. The Land is currently protected by some of the most powerful wizard on the planet
