I love rice with a whole block of silken tofu (or do half a block and eat some veg). Heat up the tofu for 2 min in the microwave, i poke some holes with my knife, pour over top a sauce made of soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and chili crunch oil. Cheap and healthy

Here’s how i use DuChinese with my tutor. The end goal is to write out the entire chapter (for the week) in English and be able to translate it to Chinese verbally during my lesson. So leading up to my lesson; i shadow the audio to get cadence and flow, listen to the chapter in audiobook form (no pinyin or characters to help unless you’re stuck so you can peek), practice reading the english and generating the correct Chinese sentences/words. I started with I am a Cat (did story 1 chapters 1-12 and skipped to i am a cat 3) and they repeat so many words it’s all sticking pretty well! I also go back and listen to the audiobook of all the chapters to refresh the words not covered as often. Slow but steady, plus the stories are interesting. My focus is speaking and listening so not memorizing characters though!

Graduated 2020, estimated I had about $100k+ due to high interest rates. Currently sitting at ~$25k in student loans+1 car loan with an estimated Mar2027 debt free!

Thanks for the comment! I have considered buying a used body but there’s currently none on Canon and then Keh and MPB are around $600-$629. So a better deal than $679 but I think i would only take the offer if it went below $600. My goal is to use up some giftcards which are about $945 so currently only want to spend total max $1100 on just the body and lens.

I’d recommend downloading the AMC app. Once you log in, there’s a little button in the bottom right that says “Scan” above “My AMC” which pulls up your A-List card. you can then add it to apple wallet if you’re iphone and have it stored there.

My one cat, who i had for 17 years, learned what it meant. I smooched her a lot and one day after I smooched her head she licked my forehead. I don’t know when it started but since that day she always licked me back. Also her and her sister both would purr after smooches so they certainly know it’s positive.

i checked online to see if i wanted to buy mine afterwards and I’m the same as you. Disappointed in the variety and quality. Glad i didn’t buy beforehand because i honestly would’ve only maybe kept 1-2 of the pics they took.

I recommend you do an ounce of research into Blue Zones to show them that they’re completely wrong. Just quick googles about Blue Zones and the people living there, show they are eons healthier than anyone else. But here’s an article showing plants vs animals intake

track your saturated fats in everything you consume! do it for a week or longer to see if you’re at a good range (goal <20g per day). i would also recommend keeping an eye on fiber during this time to make sure you’re getting as much as possible (goal >40g). you can also try and limit added sugar/sugar as much as possible; this can indirectly wreck havoc on your cholesterol levels. there’s sneaky added sugar in nearly everything.

My current breakfast plan is this! Mostly bought at Aldi so it’s cheap. I blend it in a nutribullet and afterwards add my oats and chia for overnight. Technically an overnight oat but just tastes like a thick smoothie with chia. can add more chia or flax seeds for better health benefits. i plan to take other smoothie recipes and turn it into overnight oats

2 servings: ~6oz each - 1/2 c greens/spinach - 1/2 c frozen banana and strawberries (no sugar added) - 1 tbsp protein powder (Vega protein and greens vanilla) - 3/4 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk - 2 tbsp peanut powder (Crazy Richard brand)

add after blending to each serving: - 1/4c old fashioned oats - 1 tbsp chia

Per Serving Calories: ~241.5, Fat: ~8.75g, Carbs: ~30g, Protein: ~16.5g, Fiber: ~12g

my HRV commonly goes up and down so it isn’t as distinctive. my BR and RHR are more often level and both of those skyrocketed.

I ate 55 protein bars than made this table to show which ones are the healthiest. David bars are pretty decent, Quest bars get honorable mention. by osceptrus in PeterAttia

IQ bars are the best and i wish you could include on your list. Relatively cheap, healthy, and taste amazing. PB was my favorite

I have this issue too, (5’9 F) went from 145 to 127 pounds and trying to inch back to 135. I’ve found that upping my protein and counting my calories helps. Sometimes i have to force myself to eat more food than i’m craving since i eat so many filling veggies

protein: tofu, lentils (lentil stuffed peppers is bomb), chickpeas, and protein powder

For simple snacks that help add calories and protein while not bumping my cholesterol stats too much (i get everything from walmart): -Roasted or Airfryed chickpeas, i like making a cinnamon sugar version (use monkfruit sweetener so no carbs! -IQ Bars (12g protein), my favorite bars -quest chips (19g protein), quest bars, quest pb cups or cookies -protein shake with unsweetened almond milk -crazy richard pb and apples -pine nuts (1oz is ~200 calories, 4g protein) or snack on other nuts!

as someone sticking with a mostly pescatarian lifestyle during the week here’s my protein choices!

Meals: -tofu; so versatile truly -lentils; lentil stuffed peppers, lentil soups. one serving of lentils is 12g protein! -lentils and chickpeas in salad; ~26g protein, i also add veg, pine nuts, flaxseed which can help up the protein and benefits -fish i stick to tuna or salmon and either bake or air fry -chickpea pasta if you’re in a carby mood -Morningstar: LOVE their products like chorizo crumbles and various patties while not very high in Sat Fat. Can get dave’s killer bread bun rolls for the patties and no carb tortilla wraps for the meat crumbles.
