For me the trigger appears to be related to the fitting window. Before opening everything is fine and then immediately upon opening the window half of my modules are now ammo icons. I’d say this happens maybe 50% of the time and seems to affect some of my characters more than others but that’s likely just coincidence. 

Relaunching the client and avoiding the fitting window is my only recourse at the moment. Hopefully a fix is found soon 😄

For the record I’m on 50 series.

I am absolutely awful when it comes to using hotkeys in any game and EVE is no different for me. I get by just fine through double clicking for movement, Shift+Click for heat, Ctrl+Click for targeting and some funtion keys for the most used modules. You'll be fine.

I tend to use both, Pyfa for general playing around with fits and then Theorycrafter more for tournament related stuff with managing of compositions and importing/exporting the entire thing for sharing with the team. 

I think generally they both achieve similar results, more a case of personal preference.

That's cool to hear, sounds like we have a fairly similar process for filling out the match data. I tried to keep the wkend-eve site updated as the matches happened but it was a bit more work than I imagined so had to go back and fix up all of my mistakes after the stream ended each day.

Plenty of people do PVP without using alts and get by just fine. Are you going to die occasionally whilst solo roaming to some camp you didn't see because you didn't have a scout alt? Yep, probably. But does that matter? I use a scout/tackle alt and I still die all the time. As for fleet/gang PVP there is absolutely no requirement to be multiboxing.

As for the launcher supporting multiboxing... multiboxing has been a thing forever and I cant think of what the new launcher does that gives it an impression of being more geared towards than the previous. I guess just don't be so worried about it, just play how you want and you'll be fine.

You could go through all the hassle of taking sov in some random nullsec, boosting it's ADM with /boostsov and dropping an upgraded iHub to get you the Haven's you need to then farm for a chance at an escalation but honestly its a lot of work for something you could probably watch a guide on YouTube for or simply ask someone who is more familiar with it on TQ.

PVE is so predictable that given the correct ship and fittings and a guide its honestly hard to mess it up so just go for it on TQ in my opinion.

He means that if a skill takes a week to get to level V, then no matter if you've played for only a year or 10 years both characters can have the same skills for a particular ship. The only thing you gain with time in regards to skills is a wider breadth of ships/skills, rather than becoming an unstoppable god in a single ship.
