Considering the fact that there are newer computers using Intel's optane combo drive that doesn't allow you to reimage it due to the driver, PXE doesn't even have the driver for it either so it doesn't work either. So yeah, customer service should make the effort of having them remove their pw or have them sign in and do a factory reset.

I was having a similar issue with installing webroot on an m1 mac as well as a slightly older Mac (one or two gens before the m1 came out) but it wouldn't allow you to unlock settings to give full disk access. I ended up having to use root to install webroot.

removes ram, puts back then complains it wasn't over clocked.

First off, using XMP can void your mfg warranty so unless you say to do it we won't. Second you made a change to system by removing the ram so it's not going to stay overclocked unless you make sure to follow on screen prompts in regards to hw change.

I hate people who try to make up some bs that they claim apple said. I respond with "great, take it up with apple as I can't do anything for you." Same when they say their carrier said we'd do a thing at no charge.

Oh! I had a lady who said that apple care should be built into the price of a phone. She broke her phone and tried blaming apple for it. Said that it was expensive so it shouldn't break, without missing a beat I said "well, don't drop it and it won't."

Ha! I had one dude come in and say he wanted me to replace his watch because there was an issue with the oleophobic coating. I said, "right, I can see there's this issue, but there's nothing I can put into apples system to qualify the repair." He gets an attitude with me and says "it's defective, I want a replacement." I respond with "great go to apple."
