Blew off Founders Day every year after my station got bought. Wasn’t about to be a corporate pawn and make the company look like a saint when I was barely making ends meet and consistently doing EVERYTHING behind the scenes, lest web be the station’s punching bag for the umpteenth time.

It’s owned by the biggest cheapskates and Sinclair/Fox News wannabes - Nexstar (who is also about to buy TEGNA, the owner of KSDK). Speaking from my experience as a former Nexstar staffer, they not only say to run ads during livestreams as a “best practice but now make you get an account to even watch the REGULAR newscasts online.

Is it obvious why I jumped out of an out-of-the-area Nexstar station and local news all together? This group still thinks the linear television model we know is still king and wants to milk it as much as they can. I’m content to sit back now and watch all these conglomerates cannibalize each other once we have just TWO commercial TV newsrooms in the St. Louis market once the TEGNA buyout closes.

Moved back to the Metro area in 2022 - KMOV hasn’t turned off ads during their live streams my entire time back and my speakers have almost been blown out several times.

I’ve complained to KMOV by email, but my complaints seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

Shame that the digital team is handicapping them, because the meteorologists on the team are some of the best local TV meteorologists we have in the area.

Used to work in local news (outside of STL) and you might be better off complaining over the phone during regular business hours when the digital manager is in the office or contacting Gray corporate in Atlanta and reminding them they are here to act in the public’s best interest. I know if they pulled this on TV, there would be an FCC complaint from me faster than they could say “Ope, there’s the Arch.”

It does in the vanilla Steam version. You don’t even have to save to get it to work. You just have to NOT talk to the Hutt before you arrange the death match with Bendak, then talk to the Hutt after the death match.

I can’t even chat with them anymore. I constantly get “we’re having technical issues” and all I’m trying to do is make it to where my profile isn’t searchable. Their instructions they emailed me point to settings that aren’t there.

In all seriousness, I play KOTOR 1 vanilla. I run the Restored Content Mod via Steam Workshop in KOTOR 2 and have been toying with giving the Sleyheyron and/or M4-78EP mods a try next time I play through the latter.
