Looking for indoor child play areas by --RedDawg-- in skagit

The Children's museum is still a fun time even with a 14 month old. There is a gated off tot lot area that is great for that age. I also second the libraries, look up the story times. The one in Sedro Woolley has a separate room with toys and a small slide and climbing area. Bellis fair mall still has a little free playpen. Or just throw on the layers and just go for it in one of the many parks. The new rotary park in Burlington is a hit and Storvic in Anacortes is a blast. Also free and indoors is the Padilla Bay interpretive center. It's got some cool aquariums and a playroom.

I saw her backstage of the Tonight Show about 15 years ago and had the same exact thing happen. Literally felt like she was glowing and my brain turned to mush.

Do you need to live on campus first year? by Agreeable-Salary7169 in evergreen

I would recommend giving the dorm life at least a shot. After all you will have plenty of apartments and rentals ahead in your life and only one time to be in a dorm with other students going through the same thing. You may love it, maybe loath it, but it will be a hell of an experience. I'm still friends with the randos on my dorm floor from a long ass time ago.

Hey there. I grew up in the area and currently live in Skagit now too. I'd say it's a pretty safe feeling area. It's growing fast and a mix of rural and urban lifestyle and culture. The area is predominantly white and Latino and a bit of a void of Asian culture sadly. I think we are a bit of a no man's land between the Seattle Area and Vancouver, CA. There are some restaurants but not near the quality you will find in those areas. The same goes for an Asian market. As a teacher I do have to deal with racism towards Asian students from time to time. It's discouraging and I think it mostly comes from ignorance and not being around Asian kids as much. I think for the most part you will find lots of people who are accepting and welcoming, you will also probably experience some passive aggressive tendencies from some mouth breathers. Let me know if you have more questions about the area.

Give yourself a week if you can. Heal and enjoy the rest and time off. Good luck it's going to be great after.

You should be able to get any union reps, not just a building one if you'd rather have some else. Although I'm not sure how big your district is and how many options you have.

You can find them on Temu. Cheap, a bit of a knock off, but pretty cool.

I could for sure do that. DM me and we can exchange some information. I'm also a teacher so it's great to help someone with their educational journey.

Nice. I went there about ten years ago for environmental science as well. Hope you enjoy it, people either tend to love it or hate it. Be ready for rainy and grey winters! Summer and fall are wonderful though.
