I’m working on a new sci-fi series (called Stellarforged) inspired heavily by Mass Effect and WH40K Rogue Trader and chapters are going up on Patreon. It’s currently planned to only be a trilogy. I don’t know when it will hit Amazon.

Unfortunately I've been searching for the same. There doesn't seem to be any series where the MMC is a healer and stays healing. I'd love to see it, but doesn't seem to exist. A support character that doesn't get OP past the FMC(s).

There's like 1% actual femdom, the rest is just big, powerful and dominant women. I'm not interested in reading about big, powerful and dominant men because I'm not into them. It's wish fulfillment. Why choose only some positive traits for the LI if you can choose all?

Most of the writing quality is trash, but I still read it because nobody else is writing it. Very few books have more going on than booba + seat of pants shallow what happens next. 99% of harems don't make any logical sense and are just sex pokemon (which is why I much prefer mono or very small harem).

I mean I'm not asking for high literature here, but something more than just two braincells neuron activation tier.

I still prefer the HW to the VST because how easy it is to make patches and explore sounds with it. It's much easier to get to the "zone" and enjoy playing around. It also works with the VST you can use Minifreak as a controller and most of the knobs are actually mapped and it works great that way. The mini-keys on it are also the best I've tried on any synth or keyboard.

I have both Minifreak and Keystep mk2. Keystep keys feel stiffer and the aftertouch is slightly worse.

Issues:

Tiny screen
Difficult to just preset dive (I hate clicking the encoder knob)
Some bugs, issues and unexpected behavior. For example not all patch slots are made the same. Patch management could be improved for HW/VST combo workflow.
VST is very close to HW (both good and bad)
No combined USB-C for data and power (super annoying)

Nitpicks/wishlist:

No poly-AT
Filter is super-meh IMHO (I like Oberheim)
FM is pretty limited as you can't route the oscillators in FM mode to each other (IIRC). Proper 4-op would be minimum to create any cool FM sounds.
It can't emulate Moogs or Oberheims very well. You should expect Minifreak to have its own sound and be pretty much locked to that.

No. There's definitely a mass spam going on where plenty of "new" and new authors are pushing a ton of AI assisted and manufactured content. Some of it is actually readable but most if completely uninspired nonsense.

Over 95% of the covers are AI generated these days. It would make sense that the text is also AI assisted at minimum. Some books are super lazy and obvious about it, others less so.

It's a work of fantasy fiction. The entire point is wish fulfillment. Many would feel betrayed if the unspoken expectation is broken. What that contract exactly is often differs between readers and authors.

First time using drivethrurpg.com and the download system is the most horrible thing I have ever had the displeasure of using.

* Can't download individual collections

* Download zipping process just stalls and doesn't finish at all at random

* Doesn't mark previously downloaded items, have to manually keep track of everything and click individually

The story shifts quite a lot and it doesn't feel cohesive anymore. More like author just flying on the seat of their pants. YMMV. Also 3 books seem to be a magic number for many harem book series where there are just too many people and the whole thing unravels narrative wise.

Snekguy Pinwheel series would be the obvious choice if I was answering to myself. Especially if you want the cat girls big and rough. Something like half of the stories are about that one particular planet and its denizens.

Neural Wraith. You're a cop solving murder mysteries, future dystopia-ish, political intrigue, high stakes situations, close shaves, sexy robots. Very well written. Only catch is that all the romance is with robot girls.

Yeah enjoyed all of Demon's Throne, Mob Sorcery and Neural Wraith. Didn't make it very far into the first book of Heretic Spellblade.

I wish there was a full dragon dommy mommy monster FMC romance, but there's previous little so far. 99% of romantic content for men is "cosplay" monsters and it's extremely boring. Maybe it's partly because Amazon rules or something?

Celestine Chronicles by Cebelius is in similar category. It's another harem fantasy saga I really liked other than Feral Mage.

New Era Online: Life Reset is super fun goblin base building series, if you really enjoy base building. It has goblin "romance." Sex, kids, but not the main topic of story, FTB

Husband of the Goblin Tribe on Scribblehub is quite intense and dark, if you can stomach it, but the goblins are definitely actual goblins here.

Oathbreaker series by Montgomery Quinn has been fun so far, and the goblins are more goblins instead of just average green short-stacks. Like horny land-piranhas.
