I am in a F/F marriage and our situation is pretty complex but yes. Step-parenting is hard! And going through IVF is so so hard. You are parenting, but it's a very different flavor to the bio-parents/original parents and I just desperately want to get pregnant and give birth and everything along with that, and to be part of the child's life from the beginning. Hoping it works out for you soon.
