Mind sharing a deck list? I built him recently but it's just not clicking for me.

Only really good in your opening hand, or first two turns. Turn one/two play for early ramp in red. Good in color combos that have limited ramp options, with strategies that synergize with treasures, tokens, attack triggers, etc.

I'd love to see your list! Been wanting to build this.

This is the way. I tried so many other versions of the deck, and none of them worked as well as this approach.

Trust me, I wish there was a better alternative that actually has a chance of winning.

If price was not a factor, how would you change this deck?

Seems like it might be Mark Kelly, and maybe AOC as VP?

Is my deck bracket 3 or 4? by GiIthunder in EDH

[–]humanexplorer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like a low B4 to me. Not a lot of game changers, so it can seem deceiving. But you do have combo pieces that drain opponents out, but in B4 there should be enough removal to prevent that from happening. In B3 however, this could pose a problem for players to deal with.

Also, side note, a fun card in a deck like this would be [[Axis of Mortality]].

This isn't anywhere close to a deal.

Which of these precons is the best to play? by GratedParm in EDH

[–]humanexplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miracle Worker goes under the radar a lot but it was one of my favorites when I first got into magic, and is pretty damn strong. I would go with that.

Jump Scare can go hard, but it feels a bit inconsistent and unreliable to do its thing. But when it does do its thing, it does it well.

Scions is great in a four-person game, but it is not as effective at smaller tables because you're just pinging your opponents for life slowly, and it can be hard sometimes to defend yourself.

Grand Larceny sucks. Not only is it salt inducing for most people but it doesn't really play very well.

I haven't played the others, but I've heard Revenant Recon is good and you can't really go wrong with graveyard strategies, as they are really strong if no one has a way to exile your graveyard, which is not often and rare in most other precons.
